[3:07 - 3:18] AGREED!!! "I always say, Eat with your eyes. Add a lot of color; they make dishes look good, and they also add a lot of nutrients." I just had my first real plate of Wali Maharagwe ya Nazi yesterday from Mother Biggy Swahili Dishes here in Kilifi - YUMMY!!!! One addition suggested- finish off with coconut rice.
Jambo, I have tried mbili dishes, the spicy coconut bean dish and rice and the slow cooked beef stew. Both delicious I was hoping you could make a traditional kikuyu dish. And I made chapati using your recipe as well.

Good recipe Chef D. However, you missed to include tomato paste and coconut milk on the recipe list. Also, what happened to half the beans? I assume you add it back in after blending the first half? Asante
Habari yako? Asante Sana for your channel!! 20 years ago , I ate sone tiny gram beans with coconut milk and mandazi. I ate it in msambweni (for breakfast. Any idea what that was?
Thanks for sharing, My closest guess is mbaazi na mahamri ( pigeon peas cooked in coconut milk and served with mahamri ) a very popular breakfast iem in coastal regions of Kenya. Stay connected for my take on it soon.
