RIP Keith Nale. Husband, father, hero, Survivor. Thank you for your infectious energy and so many hilarious one-liners. Today's Survivors don't hold a candle to your skills with balls.
This would undoubtedly be a tough Christmas for the Nale family but I hope they know how much we appreciate their contributions to Survivor and more importantly how good of a group of people they are. Rest in peace Keith
They're different kinds of country, both are amazing beautiful people, Big Tom is a hillbilly archetype, Keith is a southern archetype. Virginia and Louisiana are quite a distance
RIP to one of the GOATs of this game. Such a fun dude that wins over your heart so quickly. And a challenge badass, one of a kind. Sending comfort and love to his family.
“Wes is a good kid, he ain’t been in jail yet,” is one of my favorite survivor quotes of all time (next to survivors not fun going on a cruise is fun). Rest in peace Keith!
a true survivor legend. i’ll never forget him offering himself up as a sacrifice so kimmy could stay in the game and have the finances to look after her kids. first survivor alumni death i heard about that made me cry actual tears.
Keith was honestly such a fantastic addition to the cast. He had such a heart of gold and his personality was just so fun. I know it's not related to this season but him in Cambodia when he was driving around everybody in that cart thing was probably one of my favorite highlights of him. RIP Keith. ❤❤❤😭😭😭
Keith is up there of people i really wanted to win. He's a go getter no nonsense kind of guy who doesnt bother with backstabbing or alliances or really anything beyond just doing his best with what he knows. And of course he always sticks to the plan
One of the nicest guys in the world: I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times at a charity event I attended for many years. How he was on the show was definitely the same as he was in person, 100% - and yes, he is Mr. Stick to the Plan, which he still loved to say every time people would come up to him He won my heart and won my fandom over after he praised his son even in the midst of losing that duel and telling him that it was okay that Wes beat him - I remember saying that I wish my own father was like Keith because that unconditional (and sometimes tough) love was something I can say I never got from my own father. I still can't believe he's gone this soon and I can't imagine how tough it was/is for Big D, Wes and his entire family, especially during the holidays. RIP Keith, you will be and always will be missed in the Survivor world and your legacy will live on forever
This was the first season I ever watch and Keith was the first player I ever like on Survivor! It crazy to rewatch Keith story with nine years of watching Survivor!
Rest in peace Keith. He has always been one of my favourite players and I always dreamed you'd get another chance to play. Still grateful we got to see you make such deep runs twice.
Rip Kieth I liked him on San Juan Del Sur and he was very likable plus he had some funny moments And his dynamic with Wes is entertaining at some times
In terms of narrative, I genuinely don’t think there is a more heroic character in all of survivor. Even players that the survivor community tout as heroes (like Colby, Rupert, also more contemporary players like Christian, David DvG, and Ben) do not even come close to just how unbending Keith’s heart and morals were. Rip Keith, never forgotten
Reed works for cirque du suloil . Hes is an acrobatic dancer. Hes been under contract with cirque for years now, turned down 2-3 offers to return from Survivor
San Juan del sur was my first ever survivor season that I watched live, and Keith was an instant favorite for me! May he rest in eternal glory and always remember, just stick to the plan!
Adding a third comment to add: regardless of how you feel about her as a person or player, shoutout to Missy being tough enough to stay in the game with that injury. Respect for not quitting the game in an era when a lot of people quit under less threatening circumstances. And it was really awesome of Keith to help her - why not do the right thing if it literally doesn’t hurt your game at all? Nobody voted out Keith because he helped Missy, he was a likeable jury threat and challenge beast. Everyone probably respected him even more for being a gentlemen.
Christmas came a day late this year, this is a great Kwanzaa or Boxing Day present! Love Keith! Rest in peace! Remember, survivors not fun, going on a cruise is fun! 🚢
