Marrowkai is King Zarek's dead son Adicai. Watch Spearos dialogue in the earlier levels of the campaign and you will see him losing to adicai in the past. Doesn't the marrowkai's eye marks, scythe and cloak look familiar? They're all Adicai's when he was still alive. He died during a mission with atreus and only his helmet and cape made it back. His body, spear and shield were all altered when he was transformed into a marrowkai. Also, when we see king zarek in capture, he had a conversation with the marrowkai and somehow, he knew of adicai's death and when zarek said it was atreus he was speaking of, marrowkai went silent and was probably hurt because he felt zarek favored atreus more even though atreus couldn't save him from dying in the mission. That's why the marrowkai speaks with hatred towards atreus in this mission.
I think adicai is the leader of the juggerknight because his shield and helmet in certain scenes are very similar to those of the juggerknights, but we can't be sure of anything, and we can only speculate

@@5goof5 noo, I'm saying that after his death, he could have been revived by the chaos faction (even by the marrowkai himself), and then the chaos faction could have brainwashed him into becoming an ally of chaos and general of the juggerknights or after chaos revive him he could have wanted to enter the chaos on purpose wanting revenge on atreios because he would have blamed atreus for his death and that's why the marrowkai could have known about adicai's death and called atreus a backstaber in the adventure.
My theory is that adicai and atreyos were in the same group and atreyos was still probably a teenager during the war with the rebels adicai's group were attacked remember atreyos was still young and scared so he probably left adicai behind and in speros cutscene atreyos looks very sad and injured atreyos felt guilty for leaving adicai behind maybe that's the reason why marrowkai called atreyos a backstabber he felt betrayed by being left behind by his own brother
