Everything in the recipe says Awesome Flavor, however.... I wonder how old are Chinese Recipes are that use "Oyster Sauce" or "Hoisin Sauce"? NEITHER of these were available until the late 20th Century.... Also what did the Chinese use before CORN STARCH was invented? (also 20th Century)? NOBODY has answer... NOBODY, NOT EVEN 80yr old Chinese people...just asking for a friend.
About as Chinese as Icelandic haggis! You can't just throw random "Chinese" ingredients at your dinnerand call it Chinese. Extremely few people (or restaurants) in China have ovens.
