If stihl put a photo of you on the box they come in their sales would sure go up. ;). You a true hotrod and I’m actually ordering a pair now. Been looking for a better pair that’s not worn out.
I know right 😊Even though I don't know if she necessarily wants to be seen like that, as a pinup calender girl, even if tasteful, but she's undeniably attractive ! I mean what real tree man wouldn't just lOve to have himself A FemaleLumberjack !?
Felixia, your video work is absolutely top-notch. I am a retired Canadian Military combat videographer and I would like to congratulate you on your choice of exciting career and your obvious story telling skills. Your attention to detail on your “how to” videos is remarkable and you have a very comfortable presence while on camera. (Your out-takes are worth a giggle as well!) I am thrilled to see you or your videographer do not “rely” on auto-focus ... well done. The moment I discovered your channel I subscribed and was pleasantly surprised to see you featuring the very chainsaw I have been using for two years, the Stihl MS 261 CM. Keep up the good work and I look forward to following your on-going journey. Bravo Zulu (well done!) from Canada.
You make me chuckle watching your videos Felixia! Love your videos gal. Look like some great britches (pants). Plus, they protect your legs some incases you need it. I have twice in my life. Thankfully it was not too bad! Hope you have a safe and wonderful day gal. Your friend from Oklahoma.
“I like your pants”-cheech and Chong .... serious note I need some those! Chaps get in the way sometimes, and getting around obstacles and have protection, is a win, also taking chances without chaps or protective pants is way not worth it. Love your description on this video
I like the authenticity of your reviews. I’m totally jealous of your mastery of a difficult foreign language. I love your channel for the content, and what I’m learning from you. You are knowledgeable, present well, and are easy to listen too. However, I can’t move on with my day until I say “Best fashion show ever!”
Hey great review! those pants look nice. How much do they cost? Flexibility is very important! Would they be good for winter cutting? Andy from Indiana,US
Did they make any type of changes after your review? I find that I'm not like most when it comes to the fit of pants! I've got thick legs & the suspenders a great feature for me!
you wear them well. But when I’m going out to do saw work( like this morning), it’s a bit chilly, so I’ll be wearing my insolated felt pack boots to keep my toes warm. I don’t think that the cuff of these pants will fit over my boots....and filling up my boots with sawdust is not happening😀. I usually have an extra pair of large sweat pants with elastic bottoms to fit over existing pants to keep out the chips. You mentioned weight. I feel my best protection is my mobility....and keeping light is priority. I used to gear up fully when I logged for a living...now its firewood once or twice a week. I work slowly, efficiently, and of course carefully, since I’m filling up the pickup box alone. The saw is always razor sharp or it doesn’t get started....easier on the saw and less fatigue for the operator. Fatigue is the greatest contributor to accidents happening. Two tanks of gas thru the 555 xp fills the truck to the brim. Used to spilt 10 chords of wood by hand, but recently invested in a hydraulic wood splitter...and I luv it. Can spilt the load and stack it in an hour and a half, so its a great time saving tool. Go thru at least 10 chord of wood a winter for heating...now the pile is monsterous, because I just enjoy doing it. Cheers from northern BC, Canada.
Lol, I could have been the author of your review. I’m having the most difficult time finding Sawyer certification. Did you ever become certified or do you just practice operating chainsaws safely?
I'm curious if after sweating in them all day, are they machine washable or would you rinse them in a bucket. Would seem like you would need two pairs so you could let one dry while you wore the other pair every other day. Great review by the way, keep it up!!!😁🤗👍
These pants dry up really fast and are completely dry and ready the next day. I wash my chainsaw pants in the washingmachine once a week as per manufacturer's instructions :)
@Миодраг Здравковић It's advised against washing chainsaw pants that often. Once a week is just fine :) Also I cannot stress enough that I do not support your recommendation of using none-chainsaw pants
@@Femalelumberjack Not to dwell on this but do you wear leggings or some other undergarment as these don't look like over jeans apparel. I have wore Stihl saw chaps for 20+ years but have never liked straps and buckles. TY for the reply.
I bought a pair of high dollar husqvarna pants. They lasted less than half as long as the cheeper safety pant brand I've replaced them with. For less than 1/2 the cost. Which work just as well, and last twice as long.
Great video! Does anyone know where/how I can purchase these in the USA? Can't find them on any of the usual web sites, if I do, they say "not available"? Thanks!
Hi. I live in England and will see if they are available here. Can you tell me if the waist band stretches? I'm finding it very hard acquiring a pair for my fuller figure, shall we say. Size 16 is usually size 14 in reality. I take it these are men's. Thanks
JulieJackson1 Hi. The waistband does stretch and yes they are mens. I know that www.honeybros.com have them on their website if that helps you in any way :)
Very well-thought-out review demonstrating some of the features that most people would not even know about in a description so you did a great job I think you should be getting paid LOL keep up the great work my friend
no. they are similar in almost every aspect. "cut protection" pants in the european market are not as robust and do not offer the same degree of protection as chaps or inserts sold by Labonville or other manufacturers on the US market. these "cut protection" trousers are designed to be used with semi-chisel chain only. a square ground chisel chain will go thru them like a hot knife thru warm butter. part of the reason the square ground chain is verboten in the EU market. instead of improving the personal safety equipment the EU has decided to render the tool less potent. which of course reflect negatively on productivity. while they are better than nothing, they are little more than a cursory attempt at giving the user a false sense of security. from someone who has used this type of PPE for the better part of 30 years in real world settings, these things are something i would stay away from....
G'day, FLJ those saw pants look good I'll check with my dealer to see if they're available down under . One more thing are they Stihl gloves you're wearing ?
Hello, My chainsaw pants are in the wash right now. a couple weeks ago, my Pfanner Gladiator pants saved me from a copperhead snake bite. The snake struck my shin right above my steel toe boot. The Pfanner pant is thicker in the front and no fangs reached my leg. My gear was better than his.
@@Femalelumberjack Thanks, I only use the saw occasionally on the farm, I never wore much ppe before apart from ear defenders and regular work boots, now I'm getting chainsaw boots and chainsaw pants, I thought the gloves might be overkill alright.
@Миодраг Здравковић I strongly disagree with using none-chainsaw pants when working with a chainsaw! Further more the pants I'm wearing in this video is the male version as there is no female version.
I am having the worst time trying order a pair ,,, but i am in Southern Illinois USA , I've only used sthil my entire life , from growing up in a logging company, to being a climber the last 16yrs , given the opportunity I would look like a walking sthil advertisement 😂
These are not womens pants.. if anything they are mens but let’s just call them unisex. And I know for a fact that at least 4 women have bought them after watching this video and I don’t even know how many men.. ask honeybrothers the sell most of them
Femalelumberjack I think it’s awesome, please take what I say with a grain of salt. But it just always seems the typical childish RU-vid response. And they can only do so much for the hour glass shape. Awesome channel.
Hy !! I'm French lumberjack !! I'm really surprised to see a girl with a chainsaw... I can see your video very goog job'... Good luck !! ( sorry for my English ).
Felixia, have you seen side clipping suspenders. Look for them. They hook onto your pants on the side of the waist and won't rub on your chest so much. Rock on superstar, just send it!
Def wear the helmet and cut pants. Also, allways look above u cause that is the most dangerous thing about cutting timber with a chainsaw. Eyes up as tree falls. Good luck, b safe.
@@Femalelumberjack I should but I most likely won't I've been round saws and wood cutting for 26yrs dad has had me out with him cutting wood since I was 5
