@@elishasrepairandmore3639 Yes I'm a echo guy to me echo blowers are now on top in blowers and pretty much everything but when stihl made these blowers they were on top of the game you couldn't kill those stihl blowers I had 2 br400 and 420 for like 10 years and barely broke down on me they were bullit proof so take care of that blower cuz you ain't going to find a stihl blower like that ever its a shame stihl went downhill.
Its alot more lightweight than the new one just like it I've used both models and know Mine has a carburetor problem im gonna clean up the original stihl zama carburetor and check the pin flap height and put new setting adjustment screws in it because the replacement carburetor is to junky The replacement one probably just needs the same settings done to it but i like original parts
Thanks for the video. I know nothing about engines but my 20 year old 420 started giving me problems about a year ago and now won’t start. I planned to replace it but the coronavirus blew my budget. So, here I am.
When it bogs when you hit the throttle more its either the L adjustment screw on the carburetor or that little rubber thing in the carburetor on top could be the bottom needing cleaned out. Mines problem is the rubber piece in the carburetor plus its not getting enough gas because the carburetor pin needs adjusted and micro drill the gas jet holes
Just want to thank you for posting.... I had the same issue. I changed out the whole carburetor and it wouldn't work. Then I changed the fuel filter and bingo! I appreciate the suggestion.
@@johnsonkjohnson5466 you can get those off Amazon but your still gonna have to reset the carburetors high and low screws maybe the pin flap to for it to work correctly and not bog down
