Helpful review, thanks. I think the reason why some key stowage isn't provided on the item itself is to do with security. Storing the key somewhere away from the item is more secure. If you don't need that kind of security, just leave the key inserted all the time.
I'm a Stihl guy too. I have a chainsaw and a weed eater. I cut a tree down 3 years ago and put the saw on a shelf full of gas. Started right up last week. Hey, Rob, I drove from Fort Wayne Indiana to Sparta, NJ Friday and yesterday on I80 through all of Penn. and did't see you! Pretty country.
Hey man! My brother in law says "Buy Stihl and only cry once". I didn't see you either.. lol. I must have been inside. :) Thanks for watching/commenting - appreciate it!
Thanks for the review. I had checked out various hedge trimmers, but this is the one for me. I am not as young as I used to be and the light weight of the unit will sure help. I see what you mean about the safety key!
Thanks for the overview, good to see this model in use, I was lamenting between gas and battery, the gas models are sooo much heavier and I just don't need the extra power as Jo home owner, ty!
Hey there - you won't believe how tough and light this guy is. Go check it out at the store and compare its weight to some of the others. Thanks for watching!
Hi! your great video has cleared my doubts and helped me to take my money and buy one of these beauties. now you have a new follower, greetings from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Hi, I went out and bought one the other day, I already have a HS 45 24" (2 stroke) which is great and never lets me down but I thought I would buy one of these as a 'go to' hedger for use throughout the year i.e. keeping well maintained hedges tidy, just use it for this years growth, then drag the H45 just once a year for any heavier stuff. I must admit I love the HSA 45, it's light, ( I have had garden shears heavier than this) SO quiet ( So it won't disturb the neighbours on a Sunday afternoon haha!) and it was only £99 ( I am in England) .
@@RobsBackyardBBQ purchased today and used this afternoon to cut back dense old clumps of fountain grass. Result: Went through like butter. jammed on the denser stuff, backed off for a 1/2 second, then continued on through. Surprisingly light weight given its power. With grasses you are bending over so light weight is essential. Perfect choice. Thanks again!
Hey, thanks for the video. I have this but I lost the charger. Is there an alternative charger I could use? The original charger costs 1/3 the price of the hedge trimmer.
i was lokking for the bosch AHS 50-20 LI, same price, ut then i saw this one, and i , hey its nice, a little more quiet than the bosch , BUT then i saw, battery is inside the thamn thing , so im off , go for the Bosch that is a little faster and has battery replacements. Sthil dont have battery for this, so after warranty if you need you have to buy another trimmer. dont buy this piece of crap plaease, nobidy should buy this just for sthil starts to put the battery outside
This is a piece of junk! Battery died after 1 season and you have to tear it completely apart to replace it AND THEY DO NOT SELL REPLACEMENT BATTERIES!
