I'm amazed at the abuse these air cooled saws tolerate. Despite serious neglect there was no piston or cylinder damage. Unbelievable. Thanks for sharing another video!
Well now this was a interesting video and you really did a nice job on that. Neglected 271 farm Boss. I thought for sure as dirty as that fuel was that you would probably replace the fuel filter and why didn't you? I own a 036 St. Ihl chainsaw and a ms311 chainsaw. I bought the 036 chainsaw in 1994. I have no idea how many countless hours that I have on it but it has been run hard. I have always serviced it. Relentlessly keeping it clean. Filters replaced and it still has excellent compression. I have never replaced or rebuilt the carburetor and still have the original fuel filter in tank. This chainsaw owes me nothing and it just keeps running great. If you take care of a chainsaw it can last you for a long time.
You laying down the pine on that saw owner!!!! Take care.... tell Mr Chainsaw hello!!! PS your OCD is fun to watch I have a friend I move her cans around in her kitchen just for kicks
It amazes me how this chain saw could even fire up and run with such a dirty air filter! It will be loving its spa day for sure! I really love fall season here in Canada, favorite time of the year for me. Thanks for the video! P.S. I know there is a 1000 videos on RU-vid about how to sharpen a chain saw chain, but it would be really cool to see one from you or your husband on how to do it properly. Thanks in advance!
Now I wanna take a quad ride in Canadian landscape, no idea where that comes from... 😋 PS: Can you give us a video about chain sharpening as well? Also: the saw with the two failed repair attempts could be really interesting...
😂 canada does not have scrap metal dealers to come out for all those chassis composting near the train station ? Eventually they have to be removed and after the grass and vines take over it will get worse. 😅 Maybe a co-intervention ? Saying all this because you can not see my garage and workshops.🙄
