The 372XP is hands down one of the best saw’s ever built. Stihl 0.. series of saw’s were excellent also, both tools will do the job no problems. Be safe, happy cutting!

28" bar vs a 24" bar ? Ok so this proves that the 372 can't run a 28" bar without bogging? Or the screws falling out of it? I much prefer the oiler in the 372xp but with the same bar and chain that 441 would walk away.
Agree with you on the oiler, but the husqvarna just has more grunt. It may make a seconds difference if the stihl also wore a 24" bar,but it's not significant since the log is only about 20" in diameter. I dont even own a husqvarna ( dont like workin on them) and I do own a 441c. It's been a great saw for 10+ years, but I've often felt it was a little underwhelming in big hardwood.
This is nonsense, and you sound personally hurt by the video lol. Bar lenth only really matters when you're in enough wood to bury it. A 32" bar and 20" bar on the same saw going through 15" hardwood would be negligible if at all on engine load/speed. Using the same chain, you would have the same amount of cutters pulling through the wood at any one time regardless of bar size. The no-load power required to simply spin a longer bar is extremely negligible. Grade school physics figures that out. But if it *really* bothers you, there are plenty of other videos proving that stock for stock the 372 is faster with the same bar and chain. And more reliable.. And less money... And simpler... And a better aftermarket... And more modifiable lol.
@@-LiveFreeorDie the dyno results are pretty conclusive about hp drop across bar lengths. Timed cuts are posted all over the internet. A comparison video that states a slanted result is just useless.
@@iraagans3144 Ironically in the one video I found of timed results across bars 20 to 36 inches on a ms461, the 28 inch bar was actually faster than the 24 inch bar lol
Stihl has the bar 10 cm longer !!! Forse ho scritto male in inglese,ma la Stihl ha la barra molto più lunga,ad occhio 10 cm,il confronto non esiste !!!!
@@PoplarMechanic I've never ran a 390 but its gotta be great I know they're more boxy like the 372 not as long and thin like the 395 and they dont have the dumb front chain tensioner like the 395 every saw husky makes is good they just lose more bolts than stihl do
The 441 seem to have three different versions. The first had an adjustable carb the second and third were MTronic. The MTronic saws were faster but the later ones were easier to start and maybe a little faster. I have used all four of the saws. They all will get the job done. The last 441 was a good saw and I still use one today. However the 462 is lighter and faster. All are 72 CC saws. I would say the 572 is also faster.
Jose Amezola just look at the number of 372’s cases for sale, most of which are smoked. You will seldom even see a 440 or 441 for sale in any condition. 372’s like to beat the bearing pockets out of their cases, which makes them unusable. I own husky and Stihl saws but I think Stihl saws are much better engineered than Husky, especially in the pro models. Regardless, either saw if properly maintained and not beaten to death will last the user a lifetime.
@@johnclarke6647 I too am primarily a Stihl guy. Own a bunch of em. I agree with the build quality factor. You can tell how well they're made just holding each in your hands. With that being said, the 346, 372, and 395 are all excellent saws. The 372 is a good sized saw for most of what you'd need for the majority of bucking, felling, etc. They pull a 24" chain well, but I'd have to agree that all in all the 044/ 440 is more "robust" feeling in my hands. Definitely my go-to saw, although those 372's are nothing to sneeze at if treated properly and not abused or run over by someone lmao
