Really good that your covering this classic show, brings back great memories for me and your genuine reactions are good to see. The only problem with shows like this is that they eventually come to an end, damn!!

The Series - all episodes Series 1 - all episodes in the first year You don’t need seasons unless you have more than one series run in a calendar year, for instance 6 episodes in May & 6 episodes in November
The term Season comes from America's habit runs typically be 20+ episodes, where as the typical U.K. length is 6, 10 at most. What we call a series, you yanks call it a limited run/series.
Winston gave up smoking because of the cost, which is not surprising. Tax on tobacco is so high in the UK that a pack of 20 cigarettes now costs at least £12. So, if he was smoking 80 a day in 2022, his habit would cost him £48 a day, which is $65! An expensive hobby. Even in the 1990s, when the series is set, UK cigarettes cost far more than in the US due to taxation.
@@ItsAVaseProductions Not really because In Chewin' the Fat it was Victor who has Family in Canada not Jack. And in the 1999 live show Victor smoked. These things were changed before the TV show begun.
