Still Game - Fly Society - S06E02 - REACTION! 

Hey man don't take it to heart, speaking as a Japanese immigrant to Scotland, you have NEVER been racist. The Eclectic Beard channel, another US guy who reacts to UK content recently posted a video call "The Problem With American Reacts" where he openly discussed his issues with the "American reacting to..." genre and how he wanted to diversify and get away from what he felt was the same old content other RU-vidrs were doing. In that video Eclectic Beard made US vs UK comparisons that seemed to really trigger this guy in the comments, he left very similar comments to the ones he left you. Being disparaging about Americans, claiming political correctness/racism, saying if you don't like it don't watch etc. He also said he was unsubbing from Beard, and they would also being insulting to any other RU-vidrs who interacted with Eclectic Beard in the comments including Jay Peezy who also does Still Game reactions. I think this person is either a troll, or very unstable and set off by very minor issues. So don't let it get to you man, your reactions are a highlight for me. Aki

One of the things that us Scots are best known for is our humour - and in particular, our ability to laugh at ourselves. We all subscribe to your channel of our own free will, because we actually like that you, an American citizen, get us - in the ways that many others don't! It sounds like the guy has a chip on his shoulder to be honest - some kind of jealousy that we've all chosen to invite you into our company and enjoy our times together; and not him. Perhaps he's a man of Colour, perhaps he's not, I don't know. It makes no difference as there are plenty of third and fourth generation, non-white Scots in our midst now, who speak like us, behave like us and share our values - colour's not the issue, (Google's "UK English" that nevertheless corrects our spelling of certain words because they're not spelled how they would be in American English might be - but that's another matter entirely!) The fact is, there a small number of people whose only mission in life is to create issues there there aren't any - in order to attract attention upon themselves. There's more to be pitied than scolded, if you think about it!

He's one of the nicest guys out there. Ignore him, he'll go away. I will point out that Scottish is British. I know that Some scottish people want to separate themselves from Britain and become just a stand alone country. But, until that day, Scottish, English, Welsh, Northern Irish, are British. You can choose to say English or British, Scottish or British, welsh or.... etc...... But to say Scottish and British just sounds really odd. Being over in the Americas, you probably saw nothing wrong with that comment, apart from the dickish content of it. But, to a British person hearing it, well... It just sounds really odd.
