What will happen to these kids & goats? Do you sell them or are you increasing your flock for producing milk & meat? Why are you giving Littlefoot antibiotics for a cold. Colds are caused by a virus. Antibiotics don't help with viruses.
When he's a year old and if he's 13 inches or less (I think)....call Guinness World Records! He'll probably be a record holder as the smallest goat in the WORLD! Look it up! Regardless he's adorable 💓 💕

It’s a dwarf, it’s organs are compact, it will struggle with arthritis when it gets older and it will have temperature and likely breathing issues when it gets older. Breeding Littlefoot would be cruelty. You don’t breed an animal because it’s cute, you need to focus on well-being, eventually the babies produced by Little-foot would become extremely deformed

Not sure this is of help, but Sandi Brock puts in examination glove to stay dry and soaks in hot pail of water. They also wrap and lay on heating pad inside plastic storage bin. Glad temp up and feeding. She also gives some a shot to boost and the dog sweaters are cute to keep warm. Cammy uses plastic coats that holds body temperature in. The babies are precious

Littlefoot and your care for all your goats reminds me a conservationist quote about the "job qualifications" for the first park rangers. I dont remember the exact phrasing but the sentiment holds all the same. "The men we need are those who will stay awake through a winter's night with a bison calf even though it may never see the morn." You put so much care into your little baby goats, especially littlefoot who even you acknowledged may not have made it, but because of that care you give they're doing so well.
I saw a video, a few years ago, that was so darned cute; I wish I could remember the channel, or title, or farm, or something so I could find it again! It was a goat farm, of course, and they had a bunch of little baby goats running around, much like this one. The difference was, their baby goats were all wearing pajamas!!! Omgosh!! Talk about cuteness overload! I dont believe I'd ever seen anything so cute, before or since, then a bunch of baby goats in pjs, running and jumping all over the place. It was definitely a pajama party, so fun! I'm betting a nice pair of cuddly jammies would help with the temperatures of some of these wee ones 🥰

I am so sorry that you lost your favorite little goatlet. I have recently lost two very beloved cats, and know that sweet pain. They're so worth it.

Love the update on Littlefoot..he is still smaller than a newborn at 6 weeks..i hope his chest infection clears up..thats a big issue with suchva little guy..I'd be devastated if anything happened to the lil guy... as I'm sure you would too.. funny how they don't like the rain but will come a runnin at the sound of the bell..sooo funny..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏🐐

My heart melts everytime littlefoot is on. I've seen 2 baby goats pant like a dog and they had fevers and had to be cooled down by putting them in a plastic bag and held in room temp water. I sure hope he makes it. Y'all have some beautiful colored baby goats.

My dad used to have a farm back in the day and has always told us stories of all the wild shenanigans that his goats would get into. He's since had a stroke so no longer has his farm...but your videos make him smile from ear to ear. Thank you for making my dad's world brighter.

I watched the video showing Littlefoot’s birth, and I noticed that he was SO active right out of the shute, which surprised me given his size. He is adorable and seems quite hardy for such a little sucker.

About 63yrs ago I had my first nightmare about goats, as my older brother took me to feed his goats that day, but I love their little hoofs as the do that little giddy jump. Funny how no matter how old you get you never forget some things. Q
@@missweenieboys2 he is a Nubian goat… they are smaller than regular goats… there are also actual dwarf goat breeds that are bigger than he is… there are some of the boats there in that farm that are a cross between a dwarf and a Nubian… I have seen a goat of a y breed born weighing less than 1lb survive and I saw a lot of goats on my family farm… he has to be gomunculus (perfectly formed miniature goat… like a homunculus is a perfectly formed human being) lol…. No gomunculus is not a real word…. But homunculus is a real word…
From today's bath video, we are starting to see he's not perfectly formed. Those lumps on his ribs and how he breaths hard. He's struggling to breathe so he's definitely deformed in the sternum area 😥 Which isn't good unfortunately 🥺

I’m so happy to see him thrive, when you compare him to another baby goat especially a newborn, my mind is blown at how tiny yet complete he is. Two of you are great for him. I hope Little Foot survives. Upper respiratory issues suck. I had one like that and it was a roller coaster for awhile. Ruth turned out to be my best milker. It was almost impossible to dry her off. It was kind of like “I always wanted to be a milk goat and now I am one” 😂 My husband passed away 4 years ago and I worked the little dairy herd by myself for a couple of years. Finally had to give that up and move to a smaller place. It’s unbelievable just how much I miss my little Nigies and MiniNubians.
