This is a walkaround and delivery of the 2017 Honda Accord. This is the last of the 9th generation accords and one most people still consider the best. What do you think?
Just bought the 6 spd manual and it’s fun to drive. A V6 would have been cool, but being a 4cyl it’s got plenty of power. I live in Wash state and am looking forward to driving it over Stevens pass on Hywy 2 to play golf in Wenatchee. I actually like not having all the lane mitigation hoopla plus the analog dash is great. I was leaning towards a Subaru BRZ but went conservative with the Accord Sport and am glad I did.
Much better. The 2018 looks cheap. 2016/17 the best looking Accord ever. Love the chrome and rims. Interior is awesome too. Only thing wrong with this car is the sound system.
I bought a 2017 Accord in 2019. And absolutely love it. I personally bought this model Accord because I like it better than the 2018. Also this is much nicer than the Camry in my opinion.
In a few years down the line and even now this body style of the Honda Accord will become more in demand for modifications and aesthetic enhancements. The refreshed design of the ninth gen accord was well thought out! People who own this car won’t be disappointed. This body style will age gracefully.
@@carlya9109 yeah the 4 cylinder had a lot of power. It’s also more efficient. No need for the v6 option. I’m 33k miles I also did a few performance modifications on mine for 15 horse power increases. Very happy with mine. Super reliable and no issues so far. I just keep up with preventative maintenance.
Just got mine. Same color and everything. 80k miles for 18k smh. Got fleeced but the market is just over priced rn… love the car btw it’s so smooth and love the interior.
picked one up a year ago with 38,000 miles on the od and lifetime powertrain warranty. They did not go easy on me, market was terrible, needed to unload my trade in. I am so so glad we went gen 9. Sport SE
Bought my very 1st Honda Accord last Tuesday and couldnt be more happier . The sport trim/model is a nice looking car by far. I definetly made the right choice. From ex Toyota owner for decades.
I was lucky I got this car(brand new white color sport version) in September 2017 for $21700 before taxes and everything else,so far no problems at all ,still good looking car on the road, keep it very clean with black wrapping on top ,window visors and borla exhaust, people still driving behind me checking on it 👍🏻
I don’t know what everybody is talking about about, the 10th generation to me those are the best looking Honda .I always get compliments people always mistake my car for being a Mercedes BMW Audi etc, and tell me that these are the best looking Honda. mines is black on black my dad had a similar style like this and never got compliments
what do people think between this car and the 2017 honda accord EX? I like how the Sport has leather, exterior styling but dont like the bigger rims/cost to replace; I like how the EX has dual screens but have heard that is t really a plus
This is the nicest accord theyve made this far. My girl has one same color, i get to drive and not pay for it 🙂 haha only thing i dislike is no sunroof and chrome shouldve been deleted on the sport and replaced with a matte black. Still love the car tho!
Mine's the EX-L V6 2017 and I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t even know about ApplePlay when I bought it. As I discovered what ApplePlay was, I was nervously hunting online at work, to verify whether my car had it, and was thankful when I saw it had (and confirmed it when I got home).
@@davidfrench4806 planning on getting it installed if it's priced right, but otherwise I don't care for it as much because my car feels techy enough for me.
Also the last year Honda offered the accord with a naturally aspirated engine. Now they all have turbos which is ok but more parts more problems. Also turbo engines run hotter so yeah
Just bought this exact car in color. I really liked this style but 2018 is nice even it kinda looks like an Audi. Never thought of get a red car but I guess it can pass cause it's a sport
I saw it identical to this, red, at the auto show in about 2016/2017, and was absolutely mesmerized. The best looking Accord. (i ended up with the basque red one.)
Hi Chad! Sorry for my late comment. Yes, this car is sexy looking model, makes me wish somebody can take me out on a date in it...awwwww!🥰❤ Red wouldn't be my first choice of color, I'd rather have a brown or tan color! Does the 2017 models have the start engine button? You did an excellent review as a Host for this video, loved it!
I think it’s the best body style. I could never warm up to the designs from 2018 onward. The great design started with 2013 as it was perfect from any angle! I thought the introduction of the CVT in 2013 would put people off, it did with me but it has proven to be a reliable design after all that bad news about Nissan’s version.
Some American based company needs to make a head unit for the 2014-2017 Accords that is a big screen, has knobs and buttons exactly like the 2018-2021 Accord, make it good quality, price it at $450 and boom instant profit, if properly advertised they would make hundreds of thousands, there is SO MANY 2014-2017 Accords out there, and I bet 99% of them want wireless carplay, or at least carplay that works properly. Basically just put the 2021 Accord screen and software into this car, get rid of both screens and add this, imagine Honda did this at dealerships, you could get it done for $1000, I'd do that in a heart beat
I work at a used and new car dealership and have been looking for a secound vehicle I was leaning to a truck but a black one of these came in and my boss offered to sell it to me at $21,000 I only has 13,000 miles on it. Thing is sweet I am seriously thinking about it.
@@rbean1954 I actually just saw that today at another lot. I own a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee bought it in 2018 was $37,000 just saw a nice 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee for $31,000 I have so much to learn about vehicles.
@@rbean1954 Every Accord Sport i've come across at a dealer is selling north of $16k with high miles. Anything with less than 30k miles I've been seeing 19k+ I've seen some going for $23 or $24k with under 20k miles. A quick search on Cars, Autotrader, Cargurus, will give you an idea of asking price.
Why you guys don’t do Panoramic roof on your cars even the 2020 Honda Accord is still sunroof please upgrade that aspect please that’s my Favorite part in cars thanks. I can’t stop using Honda cars
What are the next trim levels for push start... Dealerships are selling this very car you are reviewing for about 18K...I cant see myself buying a car for that much + taxes w/out push start
Yeah so the Sport in this year model is essentially an LX (base model) with the appearance package. The next level, the EX, is where you start getting the features such as smart entry, push button, sunroof, touchscreen radio ECT.
It took me forever, but I recently found a 2017 Accord Sport with the 6MT... 35k miles. Until Honda decides to change the ugly af tailights on the current generation model, I have to stick with the 2017.
I didn’t like them… I preferred the scissors rims, and after all this time I’m barely okay even now with the idea of these, even if I had a choice of either style.
The new gen Accord is great however this one is the all-around better gen Accord imo. Having driven pretty much every Accord gen until 2018 (as a former Honda salesperson) this is my favorite iteration of the Accord. I myself drive a 2017 Sport and wouldn't have any other car--the way it looks, the way it drives, the BEAUTIFUL rims (which make a nice contrast to my Accord's black exterior + the "chrome" door handles), the fact that it isn't a turbo like the 10th gen and effectively has less longevity than the 9th gen...this is the Accord to buy.
IsThatChad Auto Reviews I have the same car in this video color in all I love my car but 18-19 model have grown on me a lot and the technology in thee new one I am in love with it
94-97 and 2016-2017 were the best year for the Accord period!!! All the ones after that to me look like trash, Acura just killed Honda in the year 2021 editions. Still have my 2016 CBP Honda Accord sedan sport runs like a champ, only downfalls were that the drl's kept going out and you have to pay for a clearcoat that should've came with the car already.
@@DanielFlores-kq3zj the drl you can take it to the dealership and get it fixed since they extended the warranty on them since they always go out just take it to the dealership and say you need it fixed and it's free, yeah the zaktak clearcoat that they offer you doesn't come with the car you have to pay for it I asked the finance manager when I got the car why doesn't it come with it. He told me that it's a special kinda clear coat, to me I think you should always sell your product with what you think is the best quality. Not try and add it as an extra to the final sticker price.
