I have been watching so many wig videos trying to figure out how to do this. I cut my own hair & hate it & have been wanting to wear a wig until it grows out. This is the most understandable thing I've seen!!! I was honestly so worried that I would have to sleep in it & I'm so glad to know I can take it off & still have my regular hair!!!
ItsNeira why can’t you just wear your hair as is if you are in a hurry, or have a wig that you can “grab and go”. Then when you have time do this version. I have questions. I’m very curious. I’ve became so exhausted with wigs.
I am so glad I watched this video. I will be losing my natural hair soon and have started researching wigs. I'm already completely emotional about needing a wig in the first place but at least with your help it won't take as much effort. Thank you!! ♥
AliyahBee my hair is 3b/4a & got2b doesn’t work for me if I sweat or laugh to loudly that ish starts doing the electric slide 😂 and it leaves that white film 😒
In my experience it is!! The other day I used more than I typically do because it was my daughter's birthday and I wanted to make sure my wig wouldn't budge running around the arcade and chasing kids around! 😂 And that night I actually had to get in the shower with my wig and let it soak for a bit because it was pulling out my natural hair!! 😳 I couldn't live without Got2B gel!!
I use the black got2b on my edges almost every day and my edges are fine. You're supposed to take it off with water...otherwise it will take your edges off
I don't know why you don't have more subscribers! As a beginner, this is so much better and easier than the 1,000 of other tutorials I have been watching. Thank you for this video! 💕
She kinda resemble the rapper Eve...anywaz thanks for the information, love the blonde on you (very beautiful) even thou I ain't that bold to rock blondes
As a new wig wearer for fun, it’s good to hear there’s a way to keep it down without pulling out your edges! I have a lot of baby hairs naturally and I don’t want any of my hair coming out when I take off the wig! Thank you so much for this video it’s exactly what I was looking for and it’s short sweet and to the point! 💜💜💜
Thank you so much! I suffer from alopecia and I wear short lace front wigs because as a woman of a certain age I run hot. I never did a glue down because I CANNOT sleep in a wig! During the day I become very self conscious because my wig would shift or rise up. I I've tried your method for the past few days and it's perfect for me! Even when I perspire my wig stays secure. Now I can style my hair off my face with confidence during the day, and sleep comfortably at night without damaging my hairline. Thank you so much!!!
Just started learning how to customize my lace wigs and holding down edges and this information is gold (especially because my hubby has that spray). You have blessed this white girl with your sage wisdom!! 🙏🙏🙌🙌 (PS. I thought your pre-wig look with the makeup and rows was stunning! Girl, you don't even need a wig to slay 😍)
I watched this video yesterday evening and decided to try it after I saw other's on youtube using this method. I laid my wig down yesterday night (it's sewed down except the front) before going to bed. I tied it down. Usually with the glue it sweats off during the night. I woke up this morning and it was still on. I work OUTSIDE Miami Beach......I worked 8 hours in the sun and it's STILL ON!!! Thank you
This is the best video I’ve watched about edges. I’m a beautician and like to see different techniques and this is by far the best one and informal without information overload. Great tutorial!
Love this video girl, I’ve been binge watching lace wig application videos because it will be my 1st time applying the wig myself Thanks for the information girl!💯
I totally agree!!! I hated doing this process awhile back and I was going to do exactly this method. Glad I caught this vid. I have been saying that all you need is the blasting spray. It's a ridiculously waste of money buying the gel.
Within the first 60 seconds of you speaking, I subscribed. I'm about the same skin tone as you and this blonde is so pretty on you. You SLAYED this look.
Ok, I.need to thank you my friend!!! I purchased a hergivenhair full lace wig more than 300 $$ !! and I just dont know how to ware it well.. And you just showed out, and made my day!!!thank you sooo much!! Im new subscriber RIGHT NOW!!! AND WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS!!! I loooooove you!!! Thanks!!
Becare girls because they are doing a study on black hair products & it’s giving some of us fibroids among other things. I pray one of us would come up with natural products & start making & buying our own wigs!!!
GIIIIRRRLLL I subbed as soon as i saw you bring the limacol out!!!! Lol i got flash backs of my granny dowsing me with that at faintest hint of a sniffle or a cough looord! Caribbean grannies don't play, i can smell that stuff through the screen girl 😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀
Boo, this isn't Raven's idea. I posted this years ago on Peakmills page and I got the idea from Black Hair Media in 2012. I hate how youtubers post stuff and act as though they're the originators. Black Hair Media...receipts are there!
Can you please talk me through like every problem i might have in my life? I looove listening to you and your confident delivery and humor. You’re amazing.
HONNNNEEEYYYYY I LIKED ,COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBED!!!. I was the first time wig wearing chick using G2b glue and sleeping in my wig!! My natural hair so damn soft that after a month my edges started to DISAPPEAR right off a bish fohead!!! I threw that wig all the way in the back of the closet last year and ain't seen it since!!! SISSssssss you saved me and this wig. It's winter time too, so I can wear my wig without dying from a heat stroke!!!!!
Thank you for not sculpting the baby hairs. I just commented on a video yesterday asking why every wig wearer slicks the hairline back and then combs it forward after plastering the baby hairs to the head.
Thanks for this vid! I wonder how you remove it later on an how to clean the lace! Its a lot of comments here, but i saw someone writing that you only use water? is that true?
I sweat alot, and I love the spray. I get a better hold when i glue the stocking cap down(with the spray) and glue the wig to the stocking cap. Just cut off the excess cap
I was thinking about that I've never used a lace wig I'm still vintage using track hair🤣🤣🤣 it's a longer process but I can keep it on for two weeks and keep all my edges and hair
Ok question. So u use the got2b spray to glue down ur cap. Cut off the extra cap. And then you use wat glue to glue ur wig to ur cap? So u keep the wig glued to the cap and jus put the got2b spray on ur edges to glue the cap down whenever you wear the wig? And then u jus do this whole process over again when the wig comes up off the cap? This my 1st time glueing a wig down.
Thank you! The most important part was how to protect our edges at the end to me and how or with what products. Do a segment on retaining your edges and why it's important to take off that wig at night......unless you with a new boo lol it will have to wait for next day off with your hat trick🤔 any who great job. P.S. I thought you looked a little like Nikki Minaj with your blonde wig on cute cute cute.
I love love love this video I thought about doing a lace front like this for a long time and I seen so many videos and this is literally the first that I've seen speaking the full TRUTH and I love it,you stated the exact thing i was thinking would happen and listen i love my edges i usually do half wigs but I'm gonna try what you did.THANKS for being honest and I'm subscribing!
I love this. As a woman who has lost her hair and isn’t ready to rock bald. I worry that a lot of young women will end up wearing wigs because they’ve lost their hair’ through wearing wigs.
I love your honesty. New to your channel. I've used the got 2 be glued in the black and yellow glue/gel and it gave me bad results. I would say that is good for a man's hair if he has shorter hair and spiked or styles it, but that would be about it.
Full Lace Wigs that cost over 1K can be claimed on your insurance. However, you must be carefull with a full lace as the lace is not repaired by mention. So, the Lace is for show. Not everyday harsh abuse. Lacefronts are good for that.
Update: I did try this, it didn’t work for me at all. Maybe you need to make sure you have no hair sticking out from Your cap to do this. I have a pretty forward hairline and so I usually leave a few on my natural baby hairs out. Good luck to all those who try!!
@@LightKnight14 Try using this method...Glue cap down across front with spray and allow to dry, cut off ALL excess cap across front careful not to cut your own baby hair, apply more spray and then lay your wig. Seal with tail of comb and spray on fingertips. It WILL stay put. 😊
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Yaaaaassss! Finally, I've found what I've been looking for. Not only are you showing a quick and easy wig installation method that i'm looking for, but your home grown too. 🇬🇧 🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 I've been wearing synthetic wigs (I know how to rock the heck outta them) for a while now, with a few H.H wigs thrown in along the way over the years. But adding up the cost of me getting a new wig per quarter month, it works out much more cost effective to buy a 360°c from Ali.E. Not to mention the versatility I'll have with it. And for all the tutorials I've got in my Wig & Weave watch list (some ok, some #slaying) yours is the method I'll be using when my wig arrives. Thank you Raven!! And yes, I have slept with my wigs on from time to time, mainly when I'm having an Ugly Day/ Week, but you have to let your hair breathe at night, even when you can't stand the site of the effects of the Alopecia 😔😔 (hence why I wear wigs. Oh, how I miss the days of being able to braid and style my own hair). Anyways, again Thank you, and you now have a new subscriber to your channel. 👍🏾😘
God bless you. I've decided to start making my synthetic wigs look more realistic and try to the baby hair thing too. But I don't know how and didn't want to use any glue. I don't even use gel or anything like that in my regular. I searched for how to apply and your video came up. Thank you so much. Truly a god send. Good video and Beautiful lady even without the wig, my sista
FranSlam it's not a trend, people have been wearing wigs for centuries. I don't wear wigs either tho, I just watch these videos because they're entertaining
Staci Gonzales She bored and wanted to translate english from english plus I get what your saying the 613 hair color is extremely popular it’s pretty much a trend just like lace fronts they been around a long time but wasn’t as popular then because Ms Willa set a trend with cutting hair off tracks making illusion parts and hairlines
