NO, Proceed with caution! I had the Samsung “The Frame” and it kept frying motherboards which requires the entire screen to be replaced costing $600. Samsung refuses to honor warranty claims since employees deliberately enter the wrong dates on forms. Then warranty claims doesn’t believe you even have a warranty and on top of all that, each time you call you get a new ticket number. The third party service center they have doing the repairs is even worse. It took them 6 months and why i ultimately had to pay $600 for geek squad. The $600 replacement just took a crap 5min ago, it lasted a whole 7 months. Buy SONY
😬 that got me worried since I usually leave my tv on on picture mode. How often did you use your tv? Abs for how long? Also what year and model was yours
Well, I spent an entire week and a few visits to TV stores and decided against the frame even though I wanted it’s aesthetic so bad. The picture quality was by far the worst in the price range. It had terrible screen tearing on fast objects, much worse then considerably cheaper TVs. It has terrible input lag for gaming. And the edge lit LED was obvious in dark scenes. And the SOFTWARE…. Oh the software. Far out. Clunky. Slow and full of bloatware. They are trying to sell you things in the menus. I wanted this so bad, but I just can’t, knowing I’ll be looking at it for the next 10+ years.
@@QWERTY54945 entirely depends on input latency. 120hz means nothing is there’s 200ms between putting in an input and the response displaying on the tv…. Not many TVs are very good at input latency. I have no idea, but I suspect the frame is no good for gaming.
Exactly my case. Although I didn't visit the shop yet, but I really worry about the picture quality and also about the panel. There are many complaints about the panel, cloudy patches are there which the service centre is saying normal in qled. For this price, people deserves better.
I like the style of the tv but I think samsung should consider making a frame tv without that one connect box. It would make it cheaper and you won't have to worry about having to replace that expensive cable.
Just got the frame disney 100, and all i can say is if you want the art get it, if you want a tv stay away from the frame, out of the box the quality if the tv compare to my sony oled suck, bluetooth connection to sound bar is terrible.
