This is where I knew Sting from, I’ve always thought of Sting as a TNA legend not WCW, obviously I know now he’s a WCW legend too but for me he will always be one of the goats of TNA along with Styles Daniels Joe Angle Abyss etc
Same for me. Obviously he’s WCW guy first and foremost, for a younger fan like me I’ll always remember him most for his work in TNA with the Main Event Mafia, Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, abyss, and others. I wasn’t a big fan of Joker Sting but I know many fans look back at that gimmick fondly.
Yup. I remember when they killed off the 6 sided ring and the fans booed it to oblivion and Hogan more or less told the fans tough luck. All the proof I needed that he wasn't doing what the fans wanted to bring in more viewers but just doing what he wanted. TNA is lucky they didn't go out of business like WCW.
This music brings back so many great wrestling memories for me. Sting had the longest World Championship run of his career in TNA. How you respect an Icon.
People keep moaning over how the theme is poorly edited and out of tune etc.... Perhaps that was the intention. The bizarre , chaotic and unorthodox sound symbolizing Stings unpredictable nature. The saying "The only thing thats sure about sting, is that nothing is for sure" truly resonates with Stings character in TNA, WCW and WWE, and this theme personifies this perfectly.
This theme is shit. Sounds like TNA'a music director just asked a band to go in the studio and go nuts. And it doesn't fit Sting's character at all. WWE's theme isn't bad at all. Much better than this. Johnston (I would assume it's him that composed the theme) at least tried to capture the dark and brooding look of Sting while making sense of the whole "vigilante" label WWE has put on him. However, both themes are complete shit when compared to his Crow theme.
Agreed with deth... This theme is terrible for the likes of Sting. His dark persona is not expressed through this, WWEs version is much better in doing so, in my option the original crow and the WWE themes are perfectly fit for Sting, certainly not this.

As much as i wish he had his tenure in the we (preferably during the attitude era, sting goldberg and book were the missing links) im glad he stood his ground with em, strength of character style. Feel like triple-h was envious of anybody from wcw with more popularity than him

it will happen if wwe buys tna when it goes out of business for their video libary for the network :) because then they own all the old tna stuff they could do some nice work with some fantasy matches on the games

reecewazup96 WWE wouldn't buy TNA as all their workers work open contracts, and most of the good ones, as they are right now, will leave when the company starts to die.
Haroon Hussain Honestly I wouldn't have minded if some young up and comer like cm punk or randy orton or hell even daniel bryan ended the streak. At least give it some people who are going to be in the business for the long run and put them over.
You knew as soon as it became Trips vs. Sting at WM instead of Taker vs. Sting, that VKM was out to stick it to WCW one last time at Sting's expense. Sucks that Sting got a career-ender and couldn't stick around in WWE longer than he did, he might have been granted his wish to face the Dead Man in the next WM.

But Crow theme he used only 12/1997 - 5/1988 and 4-10/1999 total of about 2x 6 months out of a 30 years career. Even in hiss crow look "Seek and Destroy" was more often played in WCW.
