[Verse 1: Sting] We could be a little something I'll be everything you wanted I could bring you real comfort Give you a break from loving I'm trying more than just a little I wanna meet you in the middle Reading you is like a riddle I really wanna figure you out [Pre-Chorus: Melody Gardot] Don't you worry what you're gonna lose In the heat of the moment We're rushing into something new But we're keeping it focused [Chorus: Melody Gardot & Sting] Don't call me lover Stop thinking 'bout it, thinking 'bout it I'm not the others We could keep it simple as La di da di da We could keep it simple as Don't call me lover Stop thinking 'bout it, thinking 'bout it [Verse 2: Melody Gardot] We could be a little something The melody you keep on humming A feeling so sweet and subtle A last piece to your puzzle I know you're gonna feel like running Wouldn't give my love for nothing I'll be everything you wanted Tell you that I won't let you down [Pre-Chorus: Melody Gardot & Sting] Don't you worry what you're gonna lose In the heat of the moment We're rushing into something new But we're keeping it focused [Chorus: Melody Gardot & Sting] Don't call me lover Stop thinking 'bout it, thinking 'bout it I'm not the others We could keep it simple as La di da di da We could keep it simple as Don't call me lover Stop thinking 'bout it, thinking 'bout it [Post-Chorus: Sting & Melody Gardot] We could be a little something We could be a little something We could be a little something We could be a little something [Chorus/Outro: Melody Gardot & Sting] Don't call me lover Stop thinking 'bout it, thinking 'bout it I'm not the others We could keep it simple as La di da di da We could keep it simple as Don't call me lover Stop thinking 'bout it, thinking 'bout it
This is beautiful! Their voices blend so well together. Melody Gardot just has that special magic velvet in her voice...and Sting does too! And thank you to the wonderful guitarist
Why Sting gets top billing on this is puzzling, to say the least. He does a most commendable job accompanying her, but Melody Gardot, soft & sultry, carries this song like nobody else can.
I got the pleasure of meeting Melody Gardot in Sellersville theater back in 2012. It was such a lovely time. She was so nice even gave me a compliment on my dress saying I reminder her of her friend Fiona Apple. Her voice is so unique
Hello Skavlan - After due thoughts and process you might want to consider US syndication of your show on Netflix or HBO - Last week tonight with John Oliver - HBO - has amassed a broad US audience. Warmly.
I was so happy to see this two singing together BUT I wonder ..Is there any music production in the world from the music industry that does not goes hand in hand with the Devils Blessing??? 0:59
Love the “cool” jazzy vibe here. Ms. Gardot reminds me of the great Peggy Lee... sexy subtle, but amazing! Sting...well what can I say? He’s still sexy as hell, and the bomb!
I can't stop listening to this -- the Tuscany version too. I love the way you both interact in this song. In my youth I loved falling in love again and again, now I am very happily married for 30 years. Memories of la di da di dah...❤
OMG! This is such am amazing duet!! I have been listening to it on repeat!!! Also googled some of Melodys other music. Love her voice and presence and her energy. TOTAL NEW FAN!!!! Sending love to all.
What a super combination of 3 great talents. It couldn't have been done better, the setting, the romance, the laid-back atmosphere, and the sincerity of what love is and should be.
A new piece of music, my two favorites, Sting and Melody Gardot perform Little Something. A perfect gorgeous performance, nice and easy for these hard days!!!
Such a sultry feel. Midnight on the islands, the waves lulling in a shy breeze; lights strung about the palms that surround the scene cast radiance down on her explicit red slip, you gleaming in your black ensemble of silk. The breeze ushers in an exotic tune as you offer your hand with a bow, you feel her grasp. You lead the impassioned dance, carving grooves of passion across the sand, hypnotized eyes locked into each other, beads of sweat forming above your furrowed brows your bodies becoming one with the rhythm. You reach out to embrace her once more, but she is gone. The waves ebb back out to sea as the music fades into the wind.
Discovered Melody through Skavlan in 2009. Discovered Sting through his first album which came out in 1985. My sister bought it and the rest is history. Thanks Sis! Their voices blend together so beautifully in this awesome song. I hope their collab continues! From a Swedish fan🇸🇪❤️ p.s awesome guitarist as well!❤️
I came across this beautiful song, quite by accident and it has become an "ear worm" which I welcome. Sting has been a favorite for a long time and now Melody is on my list. Thank you for sharing your passions with us. A faithful fan from Nova Scotia, Canada.
