Sometimes it's overwhelming to listen once again to all the great music I walked through life enjoying. Does anyone else have a hard time holding back the tears remembering those times and all the great music..!!

i grew up in the 60s, rock and roller, then discovered Jazz hooked for sure...then 5 years later sting shows up and put all of it together a symphony he is and his own genre....composition, melody, hooks, chorus, lyrics all wrapped into one. The GOAT for sure!
I'm from 1972. 45 yrs. after I still sing his songs in the shower. Shadows in the Rain, Wrapped around your finger (The Police), Moon Over Bourbon Street (Sting) and many of the songs from my teenage yrs. Anti-stress music. My brain goes in Zen mode.
Me 64 and recording covers with my own arrangements now living and breathing the police sting! grew up with police/stng. Saw police in Richmond Ohio 3 guys amazing unique song blew me away. All stings songs are the Goat songs1! Timeless! Me 😢 hoping my versions honor him!

A year before completing high school in 1993 i discovered Sting through Shape Of My Heart and the whole Ten Summoner's Tales album. And the film the Professional became a favorite due to the song. I knew then Sting was going to be important to me. Ran to my parents telling them i had discovered a new artist named Sting that had the same talent as those musicians they made me listen to throughout my childhood (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Abba, Motown artists, The Eagles, Queen etc. My mother chuckling and amused said to me "Son, those songs you like so much, Roxanne and Message in a Bottle are from the same guy but from a band he is part of called The Police". Though they were both amused & chuckling i saw pride on their faces. From then till today Sting's music has been an aspiration, a guide, a warm blanket and a companion for me in life. Thank you thank you thank you very much Sting for all my beautiful childhood and present memories.
