It was THE dream match I wanted to see in the 90's we didn't get to see. Pretty much all the other ones came to pass in some form or fashion, except Sting/Taker, which I just wasn't as interested in.
Sweet Jesus, that's sting interviewing Shawn Michaels.... one of the coolest things I've seen ^.^ my spirit is filled with joy. Thank you both for the work that's you've done, it meant alot to this kid. Prays to the LORD our GOD.
I love seeing two of my wrestling idols share with us their faith. It's great to see what God has been able to do in their lives and that they're not ashamed to share that with the world.
Ever since i was young, I always watched HBK and Sting. I remember all the great matches from the early 90's and on. Now, that i am saved, this brings me joy that the same people i looked up too as i child, accepted the Lord and are following HIs ways! Glory be to God!
The two legendary Icons in the history Pro Wrestling. Incomparable, both best at what they are and that is one reason why Sting and HBK never step foot in same ring. I'am personally fan of both HBK Shawn Michaels and "The Icon" Sting.
You're calling Sting a religious nutjob for talking about his beliefs on a christian network show, which is like going to a rock concert and complaining that the music is too loud
It's a shame they never faced off in the ring. Sting vs. HBK would've been awesome during Ruthless Aggression era. Both faced some of the biggest names in wrestling, many of the same, though Sting never faced Undertaker. Cool they seem to be friends.
+Bulgarian_Buhal It "happened" at a christian church thing. A show was put on, a story for the crowd. He didn't really "fight" him either… he saved him from a beatdown.
For a guy that says he didn't have game outside of his character and to marry someone after only dating for two weeks...Shawn Michaels is simply humble.
listening to shawn talk about how he met his wife makes me feel better about myself. i go thru that constantly where I have no idea what to say. sometimes i think theres something wrong with me but now I know Im not alone.
Imagine if Sting had come to WWF in 1997/1998, and went after Degeneration-X like he did the New Order Order. Imagine "Crow" Sting VS "Heel" Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 14! How epic would that have been?!
Amazing how a dancer from WCW helped change one of the most arrogant wrestlers of all time into a man of God and he married her 2 weeks after dating her! Amen, his career could have ended but HBK experienced miracles and the person I remember in the late 2000s who redeemed himself and retired Ric Flair is the HBK I know. He also trained Daniel Bryan and Brian Kendrick. I do love watching the old DX promos tho and when HBK was an arrogant commissioner lol.
he conveniently left out the part where he married her after 2 weeks cuz he got her pregnant LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!! GOOD O'L VINCE'S BOY TOY DOES IT AGAIN! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@misfittv313According to Shawn, she got pregnant right after they got married. Even if that happened before they had their wedding, why would it matter? They are still together nearly 30 years later.
man soo cool to see sting after all these years to still be "around" in some way shape or form.he was easily the very first wrestler I can remember attaching to as a youngin ..class act.not a wrestling fan of HBK but nonetheless a great lil interview.
Somewhere in an alternate reality Sting V HBK was the main event at Wrestlemania. Gosh, I would have killed to seen these two go at it atleast once in a ppv.
Marc Mero travels the country speaking in schools to children about bullying, drugs, alcohol, pride, and invites the students to a local church the next weekend to share the gospel with them. Powerful, powerful, message. Check his twitter @marcmero.
I just love hearing sting talking and I love the fact he is talking to a big name from "the rival" company!! Thanks stingfan4eva great posts man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
You guys understand all the big names jumped between WCW and WWE multiple times. Except a few. They all were fans of the business /wrestlers themselves.
The real and best dream match happen Sting vs Ric Flair at Clash of Champions in North Carolina in 1988 ..... God bless Sting And Ric and long live the NWA real pro wrestling... And it is something how much, North Carolina and California have to do with NCAA D1 basketball, Nascar, and Pro Wrestling ......
shawn michaels is one wrestler i really dont care for, but seeing this, i have a different perspective. nice interview by sting, another great wrestler of all time.
Yeah he married one of the original Nitro Girls named Whisper aka Rebecca. If you remember a couple of years ago, she was attacked by Chris Jericho during their feud.
@USCisthebest1 HHH, Taker, and Kane all wrestled in WCW at some point. The Rock never did, but when he became a star, WCW was tanking anyway. Sting and Michaels started in WCW/WWF in the 1980's.
@johnnycitystar - I know this is not the full complete interview but I've seen the whole interview and at the end they briefly talk about the death of Eddie Guerrero. So to answer your question - it took place sometime after Nov. 2005 although I can't pinpoint an exact year. I'd say 2005/2006.
@AHIDFIRJG YES, Sting was in the WWF in the `80s and early 90s but he went under the ring name "Ultimate Warrior" and he had long fluffy hair. Then he cut his hair spiky and dyed it blond when he came to WCW. It wasn't until later that he did the Crow gimmick.
