In many ways he has been my guru, my North Star for my adolescent, teen and now adult years. His words, music & voice are what I’ve grieved with, strengthened & fortified my being with, felt elation with, experienced peace and calm with. Sting was in town to headline Lollapalooza India 2024 and I was determined to try not to be overawed by him and run through my entire list of questions. So much to ask but alas time is finite. If youre a fan of the man like I am you u will understand many things about him through this chat. If he’s a mystery to you he might continue being a mystery and maybe enjoy being a mystery with that childlike chuckle of his in place. Theres intricate and yet fun stuff about his childhood, his yoga practice, his intense love for India.
