Loved this. I felt like an old soul listening to Sting & The Police in school even though his music sounded, and still sounds, fresh to me. He’s got such a great back catalogue. Fun fact: Sting played bass on a t.A.T.u. song called “Friend or Foe”
Fun fact: I helped move Sting from his old place on Central Park West into this one. The man had a bathroom where everything including the toilet paper was red! One of the greatest artists of his generation. Loved this concert.
Englishman in New York was his first solo song I heard ex Police. B. Marsalis on the soprano sax and the strings, along with Sting's vocals was a marvel. It's why I really get what your saying.
I just watched this all the way through. With Dominic Miller as the amazing guitarist for Sting I never realized Stings ability on the 6 string guitar. I always thought of him as a great bass player. What a talented man!
His collaboration on Herbie Hancock’s Possibilities is beautiful as well. Another genius musician that brings peace and beauty to the world. Thank you Sting. Thank you Herbie.
Uno de los amores musicales de mi familia. Siempre será un regalo escuchar a Sting, uno de esos regalos inolvidables e increíbles. He's just amazing!!! 🥰☀️🌞
@@steviebwoyy I don't think it was about being indie. I think it's about celebrating all kinds of music. It's better that way. Plus Bieber's evolved his style and music, which actually ain't too bad
"You can say I lost my belief in our politicians. They all seem like game show hosts to me". If he only knew how prescient that line would end up being.
sister moon is one of those songs I didn't remember how much I missed until the first notes played...then it was "oh yeah, I love this song...where have you been?"
