Geordie rock star Sting has returned to Tyneside to unveil a portrait of a place he still thinks of as home. The Wallsend-born musician previewed a stunning new picture of the Tyne at Newcastle's Laing Art Gallery and talked with pride about why he commissioned American artist Stephen Hannock to paint the city's mining and industrial heritage.
