I should be getting the ultra in a couple of weeks time I'll be sure to pick your brains lol best tester out there mate!! One question...the machine is Bluetooth can you use any Bluetooth headsets on it or do you have to have the one specific to the ultra like the old simplex plus ?. 🤔🙂👍⛏️

Any blue tooth will connect , best going aptx so no delay 👍🏻 and cheers buddy , you will love the ultra especially the weight 🧑‍🦯🪶

@@HistoryRevisiteduk any recommendations? Especially in regards to earbuds it gets so hot here the bulky headphones are just to hot to wear around in the heat 🥵

I used normal bluetooth headphones but the sound quality was poor. Low latency/ aptx is what you need.

This is very helpful...I've got a very old derelict farmhouse and outbuildings to detect ...The whole area is littered with rusty nails and horse shoes etc... It's going to give me a chance of finding something interesting in amongst it all...only had the ultra for a week or so and just being shown the way by your good self is a game changer...It would be easy to have a tech overload and get lost with it all...The last part of your test showing the sixpence surrounded by nails has given me hope...🤗 much appreciated...

Thanks for this I'm new to detecting only been out a few times and was struggling to get the right set up in field mode so I've gone with this and I'll let you know how I get on next time out 👍🏻 Also I've subscribed 🎉🤘🏻

I read in the manual that if the target is too shallow then the adjusted volume level wont apply, it will signal at high volume.

I set this up on my Ultra and its been awesome. Picked up way more opportunity around Iron. Digging more with good finds, but less iron. Have this on as my scanning setting, when I pick something up I switch to another setup with slow recovery. Find this works well.

Used the stinger program on ground I had been over before and found a ring and George the 5th penny, both masked by iron that I had missed on the stick settings. Works great. Thanks

Rewatched the video, I had my ferrous sound at 1, but will try with it off to see if it make a difference. Looking back on last dig I should have dug a few more based off the sound and clipping noise. We go again haha

You really like ultra ! I am delay to buy simplex ultra becouse allegedly is forbidden to use metal decetor in Serbia.. But Yours videos are great ! I see what kind of a man You are.. I will buy ultra if nothing else I will keep the machine when I go on desolated places . Yours commitment to cheaper machines is great. But, Yours english is problem to me . Are You from Scotland ? This is a joke ofcourse ! .. All the best P.S I am 48 years old, need little more simplified , like for idiots :) settings and more videos ofcourse.. Again all the best and keep going, specifically with ultra:)

Brilliant machine , great that nowadays you dont need to spend mega bucks, great for people new to the hobby too. noo im not from scootland 🤣 but i would love to live there , i do know some over the pond really do struggle with my accent to a point they need to use subs 😁

The last thing i want is to be rude but You sound like brad pit in snatch(movie):D I hope you are not mad at me becouse of Brad Pit paralele. .. But, I am Serbian, must sauy what I am think. Ultra was mine choice before I find Yours channel . Now, with Yours help I will just learns tones wright :) Many thanks and just keep going with cheaper machines, many people like me dont want to spend that kind of money on detector like for good used car :))) All the best and Thank You...

The recovery speed must be as low as possible. You can also try the beach mode in this test, you will be surprised. L a the Legend is the same. 🧐👀 God bless all.
