This engine surprised me with these new results, really I did not expect this significant 50% improvement compared to previous engines.

In this engine, simplicity prevailed, with the structure in cans, aiming to improve efficiency, within its category.
At first, I used a beer can furnace, reduced the strokes of the two pistons and replaced the plastic hose with the PVC knee, which facilitates air flow between the two cylinders and for the cooling system, I used a pot of plastic butter.
In this first test with the characteristics described above, the engine peaked at 1220 RPM and kept at constant RPM of 1000 RPM.
Due to the small internal space of the furnace, there was a problem of overheating of the lamp, which expelled fuel through the wick, starting a small fire in the courtyard of my residence, where almost caused the total destruction of the engine.
So I decided to make new design changes, went back to using the peach can furnace to avoid accidents like the ones mentioned above and replaced the butter pot with a peach can to strengthen the engine structure.
In this second test, I was surprised by the new results, surpassed the 1600 RPM peak and remained at 1340 RPM.
Another interesting fact was the first all-canned motor, capable of supplying up to 30 LEDs, ie with a maximum capacity of 0.33 watts in electricity. However, under these conditions the engine was running at 600 RPM and with the possibility of damage to the diaphragm and crankshaft. I chose to make the engine running at 1000 RPM and with power of 0.29 Watts
I also changed the inner cap of the work piston, replacing it with a pet bottle cap (30 mm in diameter).
What were the main changes ???
- the first improvement occurred with the replacement of the furnace;
- the travel of the displacement piston was reduced by 10 mm, which reduced mechanical energy consumption by the back and forth movement of the piston;
- the working piston stroke has also been slightly reduced;
- and the replacement of the plastic hoses with a PVC knee, which facilitated air flow between the two chambers.

If anyone is willing to help and donate, I need a small precision scale. Often it is necessary to weigh pistons, connecting rod and engine.
