Elisii won this easily for me. Alem was consistently unclean and even his off kilter beats that were supposed to have some feeling made no sense in context. Maybe there was a power difference where the judges were concerned but I couldn’t tell.
Elisii was way cleaner, had crazy combos and is clearly the winner imo. Alem has a great energy but this is a beatbox battle not an hyperactive rage clash. It should be judged mainly by the quality of what your mouth speaks and not your body.
That’s why he lost cuz it’s a battle Elissi wasn’t even battling alem and just ingnored him unlike alem who actually battled But lowkey I still think elissi should of won but I think it was close
@@fresh6429 How did Alem battle? You mean the "counter"? That should be minus points (i mean Elisii did that too though), love alem great person, but this battle was meh from his side
I'll be honest I love alem but this is the same as when he beat napom at worlds for me like crazy round crazy skill but just not clean enough to beat what seemed like perfect rounds fast doesn't equal the best if it isn't clean to me and elisii is so defined and clean
Elisii's mic was so off even in the video format sinjo was pushed to his absolute limit during this event big up to him i also though elisii won that congrats to alem tho still killing it yo
Elisii's mic was messed up. In the 2nd round he was pushing really hard in the beginning in order to compensate for the broken mic. Which is why it seemed random. But like with improved sounds you can hear elisii was clearly better. During his elimination you could hear elisii clearly and he was quite powerful. Maybe not as powerful as alem, but enough. With a good mic, elisii would've beat alem. I would've loved to see elisii vs inertia.
I love Elisii and Alem, but it just feels like Elisii just ignored Alem in this battle. He doesn’t answer anything Alem does. Obviously this isn’t the most important factor of a battle but it still feels important and could maybe be why he lost. He also sounded less powerful than Alem for some reason. I wouldn’t say he got robbed.
He definitely didn't get robbed imo. Elisii was definitely cleaner and had a better flow but Alem was more powerful , had more sound variations, and was actually BATTLING. Elisii felt more like as if he was showcasing. Another thing is that Elisii mostly used his signature Click and Clop style (which is dope af but might sound repetitive if it's used too frequently), and he also reused his GBB 2019 Elimination beats in both rounds ,which were great and all but they didn't really bring anything new to the table. After listening to the battle over a dozen times I think Alem took the dub fair and square
@@ghost_ender8298 Good points. I disagree when you say Elisii was being repetitive, because he wasn't the only one. Alem also wasn't too original at all. So, I agree Elisii use the same beats was a big mistake, but Alem used different routines in the same way he *always* does. Isn't that repetitive too? I think, in technical beatbox, Elisii made a way harder routine and still did it clean. For me, Elisii won by just a little bit, but if Alem passed, big up for both of them.
For me Alem actually won! Because elisii tried to show his all techniques and it didnt work for me and he didnt connect with the crowd as much as Alem did imo. I wasnt there live but its obvious in the video , plus u said Alem was louder and he really battled elisii. I think Elisii changed his rounds on the spot so he was not as smooth as always with his transitions
Alem said that the reason he won is because Elisi was too confident abt himself..like..it was as if he was only showcasing his shit and not givin a f*ck about Alem's rounds..like..Elisi thought that he did not need to battle him..and i definitely agree with that part..but still dunnow the other criterias..
elisii was fronting him while doing his rounds (I'm talking about body language) I don't see how this make any kind of sense (?) you don't really need to do counters to give a battle, just sticking to your style
Power is too important for those judges! It shows in King Intertia/ Alem battle. I think in that battle Alem won but it was the clear out right power of Inertia over a beast
I think the judges chose Alem also bc Elisii was a little out of breath for the second round, while Alem was consistent through both his rounds, but I wholeheartedly agree that Elisii should've won. He deserved it
@@stitch_mus1c Alem reused too but i think elisii used MUCH more. His first round was use in the KBB vs b-art (second round) and in his wildcard for the GBB 2020. His second round was used in his wilcard for the KBB. I am certainly wrong because I'm a noob on beatbox but when i watched the battle on the stream, I was not at all surprised by the rounds of elisii because I had already heard it recently. It's my feeling.
