I didn't realize you had this WIP... nice to see you stitch on it... I love stitching with silks... oh, that scratchy needle... I tossed mine the other day for the same reason!
I've been looking at that pattern just this week. It is a beautiful design and yours is looking lovely. The silk colour is gorgeous. I'm just at the tail end of one of Nora Corbett's letter fairies as a gift for a friend's 50th birthday this year. It's the first time I've beaded or used Kreinik so it's been a bit of a learning time. RU-vid has been my best friend. May I ask what frame/stand you are using?
Hello. I'm using my lowery stand but its not ideal as it barely supports the weight alone, so I tend to balance the other unclamped end on my desk or sofa rest.
Thank you. I, too, have a Lowery stand. I feel as though I was an original customer - I've had it for 25 years. But...I never seem to be able to set it up where it's good for me to work on. In principle it's a great stand but after I've placed my 3 heavy bricks on the base to stabilise it and done what you have had to to steady the other end then I start to feel a bit "meh" about it 😊. In recent months I've taken to stitching in hand on even my full coverage projects. It's good to have a relaxing hobby isn't it? 😂

Listening to you over several hours what I hear is that you're often conflicted by "duty". When you're enjoying something you force yourself to stop... yet you're searching for that enjoyment when you're doing something you're not in alignment with at the moment.
