You need to talk about wc and how you feel. It's part of dealing with an overwhelming health issue. It's actually therapeutic to a degree. Especially when this community who loves you is so supportive❤

I've had whooping cough since early July and I fully understand how you feel and how it has affected you and your family. I have only had two full night's sleept during these last two months and it has been exhausting. I had what they call a blue tongue, which is caused by swelling. That lasted for 3 weeks and I have experienced the coughing until I am sick plus the other sympton you mentioned! I do seem to be getting better but progress has been slow. Hope you all get better soon. Gary is so sweet!
Hi Paula sorry to hear the Whooping Cough is still troublesome in your family hope you lasses are soon fully recovered All the crafts are beautiful sorry can’t choose a FAVOURITE 😆😃🥰

I’ve been doctoring so much this summer.. Nothing important just an ear issue. I’m 70 …things are more difficult to mend. Thanks for dropping in It is good to see your lovely socks, shawls and bags. Start that black cardigan in the summer light. It will just get more difficult as the light of winter arrives. I hope your running starts up soon for you.

I have every sympathy for you having pertussis, I lost two great uncles and nearly lost a third to it, it's not a small thing. I wish more people were taking up the vaccines.

Hi Paula so lovely to see you today ❤ I’m so sorry to hear you are still feeling unwell. I was like that a few years ago when I had double pneumonia it took forever to recover. Just take it easy. Love all your projects. That shawl looks amazing in that wool. I love the socks. I’ve been using the paintbox yarn it’s lovely I knitted a pair for Mark in a denim blue, I have a pink, minty one and a rainbow one xx
You have every right to moan all you like, especially if it helps! What a difficult summer you have had. Isn't it great to have knitting and crafting at such times. You do look well, so maybe you will be back to normal soon. Your knitting is beautiful and I appreciate all your pattern advice.
Your shawl is lovely. James’ socks are looking nice. I like the color he has chosen for the next pair. I’m sorry to hear about all your health issues. I hope you are fully recovered soon !❤
Hi there Paula; I'm just so glad to see that you are back on. I have missed you and your family as well as the lovely pets. And I'm glad to hear that you and the girls are doing well now. I hope that nothing else will happen to you and your family.
Hello Paula, it’s so nice to see you back and hopefully on the mend. You are a ray of sunshine and always make me laugh. James did a brilliant job with your hair and with no hairdressing bill you have more money for yarn 😂. I love all your makes and very tempted with the latest shawl you are making. 😊
I love your podcast you always make me laugh. So sorry you’ve been so unwell. You don’t deserve that. I love the dress you have on the top of it looks so nice and you are slim so you wear it well. Love the new puppy he’s adorable. I love you bags but can never get one in time. Can you let me know if you are doing these ones again and I’ll pay in advance? I’m in Australia and would love to get one around Christmas time or earlier if possible. Take care ❤
Nice to see you again Paula! Glad you are getting better but what a pain the whooping cough is hanging around for so long. Gary gets cuter every time we see him!!! Love all your socks, I recently made my first pair of DK socks and they were soooo satisfying. The choose your house pattern looks great to combine with a speckled or variegated yarn that the pattern and colours will compliment each other nicely and not compete for attention. I think Kay Jones has lots of good patterns like that.
Oh poor thing!! You have such a beautiful mug collection. I love to find a mug when traveling to take back home. Gary is a kisser/snuggler so adorable. He seems like he might be a little talker also. I have a new thought now as I get about and shop, I think,” Oh Paula would love this”. Little bits of Liberty or vintage, Lace and ribbons.
I do hope you get over the Whooping Cough soon. It must be so draining for you, and the girls too. You’ve had a real rough patch with health. Hope you are all back to full health very soon! I received my basket from your last shop update, and it’s just gorgeous. I have three now and love them all. ❤❤❤
This summer's been rough for covid. My family spent a couple weeks in England and Wales in June and when we flew home to the states, we all got Covid! I hope your cough and chest improve. All that coughing is so hard on the muscles of the chest. I love James' new socks.
Blimey Paula! What a catalogue of maladies! Thank goodness the worst seems to be over 🤞🏼. My mum always says things happen in threes - both good and bad. Take care lovely! ❤

I'm so glad to see you!! I had WC once, but it did not last three months!! Maybe a month. The coppery yarn--Red Maple Orange or Burnt Sienna, like the crayon color. Get well soon. Being sick is no fun.
