Whoa, whoa, whoa there! Mind blown! So a friend taught me to stitch (in hand) over twenty years ago and I picked it back up after watching you guys BUT she never showed me this! I always go over and under and have to reach under the fabric for each stitch. Mind blown!

Thanks P&C! Could go right to left, but couldn’t figure out left to right, now I know! Glad to know someone else has a stitching Jack in their chair while stitching! I have two, one at my side and one in my lap! Always putting white hairs out of my thread! 😂 Cash your gonna get a recording contract with that beautiful singing! 😊

Hi! Thanks for the video, I also always stitch in hand, even on the very large Ceiling of the Sistine Chapel piece I'm working on. It's nice to see the different ways people stitch. Your video was fine, it's real life and I've stitched with babies, cats and dogs on my lap too. Usually not all at the same time, LOL!!!

Thank you for the great video! I have always used a hoop or scroll frame and struggled with trying to hold them and never found a stand that I liked. I am now convinced that stitching in hand is the way to go...I tried it on some scrap cloth and love it! Thanx!

ok I am so glad I am doing it right lol . I do it exactly like you guys do I am so glad , there are not too many videos out there on stitching in had , of course you are a lot faster than me , I used to use a hoop back in the day. I bought q snaps I can't stand them . I love stitching in hand way better . less to carry around and zip lock bags for my projects I have been using them for everything for years =) thanks for the video . much appreciated . I can't get enough of you guys . hugs and kisses Jo

THANK YOU! I use a Q-Snap but want to learn. I’m also a ‘fuss-budget’ and my backs are great, according to what my Mom said as I showed her my first piece. That was such high praise for me as a young stitcher. So I guess I’ve continued. BUT, I’m 76 and have more patterns than I will ever have time to complete! But bending a little and learning how to be not so rigid in my stitching. The both of you look like you’re having more fun and enjoyment than I am. Something will give on my part. 😊 Many, many thanks for the time you have taken to film this. T’was a beaut! Singing included! Love and hugs.

Priscilla and Chelsea, I have watched this stitching in hand video several times. Thank you SO MUCH for making it. I was looking for the sewing method, in hand, completing each x fully before moving on. I just started Afternoon in New York, and it is going super fast for me. I know that video was tough to shoot. Thank you for the time you both spent on it!

I'm so glad you guys showed it this way- because I had tried it so many times- with no luck.. I stitch one x at a time- and nobody ever really showed it done- that way..... It was only shown doing one leg at a time- then going back- and that is not how I "think"... lol... Love this.. Thank you both soooo much for sharing soooo much... xoxo Niki

That’s exactly how I do the sewing method and have never seen anyone else stitch from corner to corner like I do...I feel so much better! A lot of the videos I’ve seen take a stitch straight up and down and I just couldn’t get the hang of that so I just started making the cross and it works for me. I do go from bottom right to upper left first but it’s still the same technique! Thanks for confirming that what I was doing was ‘normal’!
