You mentioned one thing that none of the other you tubers mentioned the level input great function. Your input is always great on things others miss. Awesome playing as always and this plugin is certainly worth getting. I really dig this one.
Ive been away for awhile, nice riffs to come back to. My internet sucks in the Ozarks! Anyone tried this in Studio One? BTW I think Persona Non Grata is Exodus at their best!!!! Incredible album. Im 51 and thought Man im getting to be a pretty old ass Metalhead, then they released Persona Non Grata..... aint that old after all !!!😁

Nice tones, as usual coming from you my friend! I have a question, I’ve notice you use the 1073 as a preamp in your UAD device.. Do you use it as an effect or as a preamp, for getting more flavor for the DI going in the plugin? And, how do you set it to get more color for the DIs? Just the red knob or some Eq aswell?!? Hey thanks for the kind words! As far as the 1073 pre.I use it only on the mics not when tracking the DI. i use it in unison mode so that it acts like a real 1073 in the actual signal path of the microphone. No EQ applied. I track my DIs with a Neve RNDI into my UA Apollo. The Apollo is using the stock pre and adding almost nothing to the sound at all. It is very neutral. Hope that helps answer your questions!

I have another question, I’m thinking on getting an Apollo Duet 3 or a Uad Twin mkii.. I actually dont need the dsp from uad, since i’m getting most things native.. So I’m probably going to go for the Duet 3, good choice for recording guitars? Or the Uad apollo twin is the best option, even without the need of DSP? let’s say preamps (Instrument and Mic) and AD/DA wise in both devices.. Which one of the two should I get? With that in mind, Do you think there will be a great difference on having a DI box before the interface? Or the Duet 3 (or the apollo twin, if you think is a better option) preamps can do the job, without any need for a DI box? Forgot to mention, I’m not reamping.. thats what i was wondering too like how the hell do i actually import someone else's bank? generally i prefer stl tones but i gotta admit ndsp makes using other peoples presets alot easier still havent figured out how in tonality
man can i ask wich cabinet you use in your intro's (on the killertone presentation screen on the begining of your videos) is the randall cab with V30 ?
I double tracked the guitar parts, one for the left and one for the right, so that is where the stereo part happens. Then I pan each track and buss them to a single stereo track and use the stereo mode of the plug in. That way I process both sides at the same time.
i've been playing with the trial for a couple hours. i identified the problem. the cabs. it's all fizz. if i load any IR in the world it sounds worlds better. running a different amp plugin into the tonality IR loader... fizz. doesn't matter where i put the mics. if i get rid of the fizz it's mud. i wanted to love this but... man... what a letdown
