I just bought an X and ran up on this video(even though its not even about the cat... ). I was surprised the X ran so close with the stock maverick. I figured that extra 10ish horsepower of the maverick would show up a little better. I ride Ky/Tn trails so i hardly get out of low range and looking forward to the great suspension the cat has. Hopefully it holds up decent, but I bought it knowing they have some quirks and common issues and paid accordingly. I think it'll suit me well

I own a 2017 can am maverick 1000r xmr. Just curious if wrapping th exhaust like y’all have done on these machines make a noticeable difference or not. Cuz I know these get hot ass hell in side especially this time of year

I just had a stm tuner secondary get junked from a primary bolt snapping.

I am in Mississippi and we don't get much snow but we got mud and I can relate to that last part

What are the benefits of stm clutches vs clutch kit !

Hey Guys, I don't have a sxs but I did just install a stock clutch in my 2005 sportsman 500 HO with a QSC clutch kit. Didn't want to spend the hundreds of dollars on tools to take the clutches apart so I dropped them off at the local dealer (New Boston Crane, in NB, Mass) great ppl... anyhow, when I installed the clutches w new springs the deflection was good as from what I can see in your vid. but I was/am concerned about the fact that the belt it partially outside of the rear clutch, like you have left yours and said to be ok. I have never worked on clutches, basically did this one my self and as long as you guys think this is ok it helps me sleep easier. I was about to bring it to the dealers until I saw this. thank you and I'm subscribed and can't wait to learn more.

Have question. Machine only has little over 100 hrs. Expensive yard art. Invested 55G's beefing my 2016 Can-Am turbo machine. Motorsport done something to machine, thinking i'm a dumb girl. Ex bf a "so" called ATV mechanic?? Test, drove, my 2016 Can-Am turbo. The dude driving to fast for 1st gear, shifted, grinding the hell out of gears. Had to scream to "Stop" then put in gear. Machine IDLES, at 15 rpms NOT at 5 rpms. I personally, installed new "Idle throttle body yesterday". Still idles at 15, worst part is shifting in & out of gears while, Parked. Is freaking hard. This, again lead to grinding again. I prefer the old school clutch on the floor trans. I would guess "Synchronous" issue, plates spinning, when shifting. Belt driven I know nothing about? Please, help.
