The point is that the weasel can not get to the rabbit because the cut grass has very sharp, high tips. Hence the weasel dances. The rabbit is safe as long as he is sitting in the freshly cut grass.

Why so much acrobatics and physical education. Stoat wanted the rabbit to start running so as to attack from behind but the rabbit read his negligible mind. Not a lucky day.
It’s actually sad that nature is this way. Not funny. And people that find weasels and stoats and the like endearing to the point that they enjoy watching them kill rabbits need to have their heads checked. There is a fine line between having an understanding and respect for nature, and enjoying watching a weasel torture a baby bunny over a 20 minute span, or making light of its suffering. At best, it can be characterized as a very sad and unfortunate side effect of nature, or the version of it that has been installed on planet. Who can say for certain that this is the way life should be. Maybe we are part of an experiment gone wrong in some ways. Maybe the vast majority of existence is non-violent in nature and we here on earth are a freak exception. Who knows? But what I do know is that I don’t have to like it just because it appears ingrained in life here.
If you are the owner of this video you wil Li probably be the only person to read my comment by the way as RU-vid seems to have mostly shadow-banned or censored most of my activity and I have noticed the last few comments I have made have had almost no replies or likes lately except those by the channel owners. While other less thoughtful comments will have dozens or even hundreds of them. This has occurred consistently across every video I have commented on lately. They’ve done this because their opaque AI algorithms apparently don’t like some of my views, as, admittedly; many of them are indeed off center. They should have their protection against content lawsuits revoked as they operate much more like an editorial publication than a free disinterested public domain service, which is what they are supposed to be and is the reason they don’t pay taxes. Bastards.
I think that to imply that a predator-prey relationship may be an abberation or abnormal for life is ridiculous. If there are living creatures eating plant matter on any planet, eventually something will evolve to eat this creature. I guess i cant prove this but it stands to reason.
