My head logic is the aim9-B went for the flares dropped by the Su25 or he was firing against another missile (that's the primary use of aim9-Bs at this br you can fire most missiles against other missiles in a headon) and the proxy fuse conveniently killed the A-7D.
remember when this was considered op? good ol days maybe. also dont know how all them su25 players are so bad lol i rarely die in it running 4 gun pods
The F-8U and F-8E are very good. In the F-8U, you have to be very particular about pulling symmetrically at 400-450 knots, as the wingbox is much weaker than the F-8E. The Aim-9D is a very good long range missile. In terms of dogfighting, you should be attempting to two circle (rate fight) everything, maintaining about 370 knots indicated for best rate of turn. You can use the weapon select to select a pair of guns individually to increase firing time.
@asphalt8-nguyenpetervn242 It's a missile that's better at longer range. From top down, 2.5 to 3.5 kilometers is best. It starts a little slow, but burns for a long time. I've hit over 4.5km shots with it, but shooting up at high alts.
@@CorneliusTheWizardDogat 10.3 it's all Tigers, A-10/Su-25 and Drakens... You don't encounter many radar missiles, especially when flying low(no PD radars so a lot of clutter)
