100 times yearly expenses will suffice for retirement sir e.g if my current yearly expenses is 4lakhs my retirement money is 100 * 4lakhs = 4 crore will this work sir?
Sir.. 25 to 35 times should be fine sir.. there is a concept called FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early). You can google it out to know more. That will give you an idea of how much you need for early retirement..
Prem sir agree with you if someone targets 100 times its called fat retirement it will take care of all expenses including children education marriage buying home lifetime retirement expenses etc., One can target 70 times its called comfortable retirement it will also take care of all expenses but one should allow it to grow 3 to 4 years before reaping the benefits
No Not really , if index funds can beat AMC mutual funds , then why SBI,HDFC,AXIS,ICICI,LIC, quant mutual fund exist ? people go for mutual funds to get superior returns than index funds , on an average index funds can give 10 to 12% but AMC's mutual funds can give 15 to 19% returns per annum
