Stocks are overpriced,inflation is not under control, IMO dropping rates will send inflation to the moon. This crap about excluding energy food and shelter because of volatility, that's the only true inflation gauge as it's were all the money is being used, the money in other areas is low because it ain't flooding to that direction, people are cutting back on all other areas.

Some of us are actually thriving!

For those with 20 or 30 years to go, IGNORE THE MEDIA; when stocks go down, great we can buy more. When stocks go up, great we are getting our return.

Absolutely agree this is the time to pile up cash in your account and be patient then start buying when the market is down and continue buying I will start buying once the market is down %15 and continue to buy till it’s back up %10 then stop and let li run this is if you plan to invest for the long run

moved my 401k into stable value a little bit ago. doesnt go up as much, but doesnt go down. ill move it back to large cap/small cap mix when the market actually dumps, not this little 8~10% we saw over the last few weeks.

There is more and more money piling up on the side lines. When the market goes up it will go up fast so buy the dip if you can afford to. Otherwise just stack money and hope the market goes down more. If you begin to get scared.. that’s the time to buy.
