EARN MORE - FREE BOOK: microstocklife... In this video I answer your questions on topics like what to do when Adobe blocks your account, why are your uploads limited to a certain number, the latest AI content review wait times and more.
Yes that's a big deal. I have to constantly remind myself not to cover the same topics too often, or at least cover them in different ways so I don't steal sales from myself. Thanks!
Hi! Sorry if you've already answered this: Do you have a list of common AI flaws to check for in realistic pieces? Hands and teeth are a few examples for people, shelf contents and stairs are good for interior, etc. Is there a comprehensive list or guide for this anywhere?
Hi and thanks for the question. I think that would be a great resource. I will put thought into creating that and share it here. What you mentioned is a pretty good start. The thing I always watch for is text -- both letters and numbers. Also legs on tables and wheels on vehicles. Best of luck to you!
Yes, I have some questions... Do you keep creating new assets or do you rely on the ones you already have? During these 15 years, did you have a moment when you somehow lost your muse for new creations? If yes how did you deal with it? What was your very 1st year as a contributer like and what were the numbers?
Thanks for the questions. I actually cover a lot of these in the course I recently posted at Udemy. I hate to use a shameless plug as an answer, but I go into a fair amount of detail there -- more than I could hope to share here... www.udemy.com/course/sell-stock-photography-footage-ai-images-beginner-course/ Use the code MICROSTOCKLIFE and you can have it for free. If you still have questions after that, please ask! I don't think I cover the good question about creating new assets. I've done a good amount of 3d rendering for my portfolio, and that's a big plus of 3d -- once you create a model of an object, you can keep reusing it. Thanks!
Hello, I saw that you said that you have over 20 thousand pictures, so I'm wondering what happens when the number of 10,000 pictures is exceeded because no one is shown more than that on their profile. Do old images stop being visible after 10000 uploads and can no longer be sold?
Hi, thanks for watching and for the question. Most buyers will not be downloading by looking at your profile. They are performing image searches, and ALL your content will be searchable, whether you have 1,000... 10,000... 100,000. The larger your portfolio, the better. I cover the importance of consistent uploads to build a large portfolio in my new two-hour course. www.udemy.com/course/sell-stock-photography-footage-ai-images-beginner-course Use code MICROSTOCKLIFE to take the course for free. And if you like it, please let me know by leaving a review on Udemy. Best of luck to you!
I am full of appreciation for what you do. you share your experience and knowledge. I wish you that as much goodness as possible will come back to you, God bless you
I have watched some of your videos, and they are very inspiring, Thank you so much. but I have a question: have you ever found your work stolen and sold on another platform by someone else? I found my design (vector) either on Shutterstock or Adobe Stock, being sold by someone on Etsy and on other marketplace without any modifications. Can you explain the licenses on Shutterstock and Adobe Stock regarding the use of downloaded works by buyers? I apologize, I'm a beginner on these sites, and can I report the person who is reselling my work?
Hi, thanks for watching and for the questions! I will make a note to possibly answer this on an upcoming video. I have seen my work stolen multiple times, typically by people who just grabbed my images off a Google image search and used it for free in things like flyers and Powerpoints. I even sat through a training course once and the presenter had one of my images on screen with the agency watermark clearly visible, with no attempt to remove it! It's something I just had to learn to accept. But someone on Etsy using an image on something for sale is taking it to another level. First, you have to be sure that the person didn't actually pay for an extended license that allows them to use it on an item for sale. If you have not sold such licenses for the image in question, I believe you can contact Etsy and tell them that the item in question infringes on your copyright, and they should take action. I don't know all the steps since I have never done it, but you should explore that route on Etsy if this has happened to you. Best of luck!
@@MicrostockLife Thank you for your response. I realize that it would be very easy for others to use my work on the internet illegally and profit from it. I am eagerly looking forward to your video discussing this topic. It might greatly help me understand the licenses of both microstock sites. Thank you so much!
Hello, thanks for watching and for the question. I do not do this full time. I have a large family to support, so I need a larger total income, and the benefits a full time job brings (health care, etc.) Plus, I think I would go crazy staring at my laptop all day in isolation, so I do enjoy the collaboration of being on a team. Fortunately, I have my daily microstock workflow optimized so it only takes me about 90 minutes a day. Best of luck to you!

Hi, thanks for watching and the suggestion about 500px. I don't have experience with that agency. I only know things that I have read about them, which don't sound encouraging to me: www.microstockgroup.com/general-stock-discussion/500px-36393/
Hello, my account was blocked, I think it will not be restored, now can I reload the materials from the blocked account or do I need to create new photos?
Hi, that's a good question. I've never been blocked, so I haven't had to deal with this. But I did find this discussion of your question on the Adobe forum: community.adobe.com/t5/stock-contributors-discussions/can-i-upload-my-old-photos-from-my-blocked-account-to-new/m-p/14040794 Best of luck!
@@MicrostockLife I got this email. Dear Didar, Please wait until we validate your account again after removing the irregularly earned credit. It will take a few days to finish the process.
@@MicrostockLife and this messeg Thank you for contacting us. Since your account appeared in the context of highly irregular sales activity, your account was blocked initially. If you agree with the removal of those irregularly earned credits (20.16 credits) from your account, your account will be unblocked after our team review. It appears that someone made irregular sales of your content from a fraudulent account, and thus it all had to be canceled. Those suspicious accounts were already blocked and deleted, and all licenses made from these accounts were canceled as well. When an irregular license or sale is detected, it all gets canceled, including potential credits received. Please respond to this email. Please note that any activity that artificially increases your sales will result in your account being blocked. If your account is blocked again for this reason, we reserve the right to terminate your account completely.
Hello. Yes, the codes went extremely quickly. I made more available. Please try again using MICROSTOCKLIFE and let me know if it worked for you. Thank you!
