hi everyone!!! hello from Stockholm, Sweden!!! This trip was so highly anticipated by my family and I, we started planning it last summer. I feel so grateful for this experience, we had an amazing time. The city is so incredibly beautiful, and everyone was incredibly nice, especially when we would try our best to speak Swedish with them, which I tried teaching to my family, and tried learning for a couple months. Anyway... tack så mycket for watching!
I will add below some comments from my Amsterdam video that I left in the description as well, considering it is from the same trip and still highly relevant 💌
Travelling is incredibly important to me and it is something I prioritize, but I am very aware of the state of the climate. I try my best to offset my emissions whenever I travel, while also doing my best to cut back on emissions/ waste in my daily life. I also use wren.co (not sponsored) and make sure to check any available options when purchasing flight tickets that airlines provide that claim they will help cut back on emissions!
I am also very aware that my current experience in the world is very privileged, and I never let a day go by without reminding myself and expressing gratitude for my life. Palestine is still suffering, and it's important that we keep talking about it. There are countless places to donate to send help, here are some that I've found recently:
donate.savethe...
www.ummarelief...
It's important to also have conversations about it with people in your life, and try to listen to as many Palestinian voices as we can.
Thank you for watching 💌

That was a great video! I really enjoyed it, and at the Fjärilshuset telling the fish "I love your work" actually made me laugh out loud. So glad you liked Stockholm. I've been to Toronto and LOVED it! Such a nice, cool city with super friendly people. The company I work for is opening a business in Toronto and I'll definitely try to go there for a while at least. So, you loved Stockholm, I love Toronto... We're even! ☺️❤️

of stockholm had kept its stunning buildings, then it would be that, for sure. But unfortunately, 70% of the most stunning, and detailed buildings in the inner city has been destroyed and replaced by unattractive modern buildings.

And half of those left has been renovated, where most of the decorative work on the facade has been removed.

Uuuh, the Klara-quarters were literally a worn down slum before they dug it up. It wasn't the jugend style of the buildings that remain in the surrounding areas, it was basically a shantytown.

@@danvernier198 could be literally anywhere. If nothing is being maintained then it will happen. Gamlastan was also pretty sickly, as well as literally every single city in europe in one time in their history like london, but they managed to keep their beauty up? Why not klarakvarteren? It would be very possible.

Of course it is in summer! Come in January, february, march or November, December…and it’s one of the most ugliest, abandoned, dark and unfriendly. All these videos are so silly, picking the best time of the year and one of the most pretty apartments/hotels in the whole town…who loves like that? Almost noone! This you can do with every city in the world, cherry picking only the best of the best.

It's rather obvious that summer is the best time of the year to visit, lol. Of course it's not the same in the winter 🤷

Exactly, agree 100%. But I think Stockholm is boring even in summer😂. Just a very boring city.
