Oh dude, this tank gets a 10 from me for sure! 100%!!! I absolutely LOVE it. Saltwater fish are my favorite, and the rock work is fantastic! It looks absolutely incredible, Nick!
Nick you have been my favorite role model for the longest time I have heard of your channel I hope I get a tank like you and I wish and hope you stay healthy
I recommend getting a special lense for your camera that’s suppose to help take pics and vids of aquariums with the blue light. Brown colored lense I think it’s called
Nick, I just want to say that I appreciate that you have been responding to comments and seeming to accept feedback, as well as researching. It must be hard to learn while you are under scrutiny, but you handle it well and it’s fun to watch you learn and see your enthusiasm for the hobby. I hope that you continue to learn and grow!
The people criticizing have never been fish keepers. I bought a brand new filter from Petsmart. It was missing the guard. I didn't know it was missing the guard. It sucked up all my fish and chopped them up. Things happen. Its unrealistic for these kids to think ever fish will survive and thrive in a tank. Great work Nick. I love the channel. I have been a subscriber since it was called Nick and Paul
I think your tank is great (10 out of 10). Some things I won’t get for it would be some saltwater inverts to help your tank with the cleaning part you would have to watch the eel, wrasse, and goat fish you have because sometimes they will eat inverts. If you get more fish for the tank some fish I would like to see would be a bangaii cardinalfish, foxface fish, and if you decide to get one more tang I would love to see a sailfin tang (which is the tang in with the yellow eye tang and the panther grouper). great video and take care of all your wonderful fish that you have and just got.👍
This is amazing nick my god I love them wow what a tank setup theses r my kinda fish I’m so glad ur octopus is doin so good seein him happy like that I wasn’t sure how it was going to work out u guys r amazing ♡ ♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎
Did you ever go back and pick up the powder blue tang that the sales person forgot to put in with the rest of your fish from the first batch of fish you got for this aquarium? BTW Nick, forgot to mention that I absolutely LOVE your new tank! It's beautiful!!!!!
After the timelapse to show how the fish were doing the following day I could only count 4 of the little silver fish swimming along the top. Did 1 not make it?
Definately go with a koran angel next time nick. It is a beautiful fish and very active. And definately snag a cleanup crew package to keep the algae and nitrates down. I have almost as much fun watching all my snails and hermets and emeralds and starfish move around and snag all the uneaten food as i do watching my fish swim around.
I’d say add some verticality with the rocks because it’s all the same level right now. Also don’t get too attached to any of your fish because octopus are notorious for killing tank mates. Awesome tank though man keep it up!
I've been looking forward to this video! So pretty love the new tank!. Did you end up going back for the powder blue tang? I didn't see it. Love the new additions!
Tell your camera man to film. He keeps interrupting you and the film is distorted. He stealing your shine. Also you need a lid for your octopus tank. He will crawl out.
You need a camera man who knows how to focus a camera. Also your color balance, the aquarium lights cast a blue tome making the video unviewable. The colors are all washed out. 0 out of 10 👎🏼
That longnose wont survive for long ! They don't eat frozen or other food, only alive or what they pick up from the rocks and your tank is way too fresh.
The copperband ive noticed is alot pickier then the longnose. He does eat though. I picked them up live brine shrimp today. The longnose eats pretty much anything though!
Nick Bingo that’s dope - yeah the copperband will really only eat live brine or clams. The longnose should switch over to frozen fairly easy! Tank looks great though, love all the tangs. Best part is when you feed them a big thing of seaweed and they just blow up on it
@@ChewysBro my experience with copperbands is, that its possible, when your tank is atleast 3 or 4 years old, so they can feed themselves during acclimation which can take weeks. They also need calm tankmates ... no dominant big clownfish, no dominant tangs or angels. In the beginning they can't be disturbed while feeding. If you're lucky and you brought them through this tough phase they have good chances. BUT with longnoses its pretty much certain that they die within 6 to 8 weeks. They're high class experts fish who need a really big and established tank. Even if you have those, they usually don't survive the first year. I'm in this hobby for 12 years like my first and oldest 250 gallon tank and i tried it several times with rescues or rehomed ones and it never worked longer then a year.
