10 lb bags of chicken leg quarters when on sale about every 3 weeks $3.99. 5 lb rolls ground beef usually $15 Cases of canned veggies sale price twice month 12/$8 per case. Gr beans, corn, peas, carrots. If butter goes under $2 I’ll get as many as I can afford for the freezer. Same with block cheese. On sale last week $1.49 8 oz size I bought 10 Anything on sale that is good for long term storage or freezer

My husband found this recipe on the pioneer woman. We use an 8x8 but bigger is fine. Put some enchilada sauce on the bottom of the pain, put the taquitos to fill the pan, pour the rest of the enchilada sauce on top cook at 350 for about 30-40 min. Top with cheese the last 10 min. We use Green enchilada sauce for the chicken and red for the beef. So good and easy dinner

It was always the biggest argument when getting cheese when we were kids because my apparently artistic brain thought the white wasn't white it was yellow and the yellow was really orange. 20 something years later I became a graphic artist and another 20 years after that and I'm still convinced my younger self was right!

We have a chefs store in our town. It is fun to look at all the restaurant stuff!!! The freezer rooms are so cold I only last a few minutes!!!🤣

I am only one person now. I have always had to bulk shop for my family. But everyone's gone. So I still bulk shop things and split them up so I save myself money knowing I already have it don't need to blow money on that item again. If I find something I really like I'll buy 2-3 big packs of it and have it on hand for months. I have pantry stock of bulked items too like rice pasta sauces beans veggies and fruits. So the only thing I need to worry about weekly is fresh bread and milk. My food pantry tends to over send eggs and cheese. I'm only one person but they'll send me 4 packs of sliced cheese and I have to figure out ways to use it or give it to neighbors. They gave me a turkey last week. I thawed it and then chopped it up and repacked it in smaller packages for many other times. I like legs and thighs and wings on turkey better than breast meat. But I'll eventually use it.. I even buy bulk spices in big containers. Especially the ones I use a lot. That way less money going out on those over the year too.

great trip we have Gordon food supply here and it's like that too except you cannot go into the freezer and cool section they have everything out. Good deals glad you got to take your son he was a big help. Hey I emailed you about a collab think you would do great at. much love my friend

We shop a lot at the chef's store and dumped Costco. I bought these freeze sheets of 100 for .99 on TEMU to separate lunch meat and cheese we slice up and freeze. I even spray a cookie sheet whip up lots of eggs and poor on to the cookie sheet in the oven it nice not to tip and feel my oven with ops egg's. Then I place cheese slice gold one side and start placing on sheets in the freezer so I can vacuum up for easy grab day's.

Have you ever checked out any nearby food salvage stores. They can get some really great deals on perfectly good stuff thats even in date. But watch the dates anyway.

We stock up on canned goods, frozen veggies, cheese, and some meats and fish. We mostly get our meats and chicken from the butcher shop.

The restuarant supply store by me would slice that bologna for free. Maybe yours would also. That cutting board, it's the same one I have bought for years and my husband cuts it into smaller boards on his saw. He'll cut one in half and one in fourths and leave one whole. They last forever!

I don’t think any of the purchases were too bad, but I wouldn’t have paid that for cereal! I’m sure it would have been cheaper at Costco or Walmart. I got sausage that was similar to that from a food bank type deal a few years ago. I found out it had to be cooked in pan of water for it not to be rubbery. If you know a different way to prepare it, maybe you could put it in a video.

Have to get deal's all we can. We had to toss three buck deer being all came with the disease that will kill humans. Hard to believe this is going on and has since 2005 last year bear was bad and four Elk all was turned into waist to be burnt . If this gets into farm animals what will we do. I want a test kit for my chicken's. It's time to buy another freeze for cow to go in. Food banks starting to look good.

They do also have a flat cart to put things, but I am not a good driver of those! Haha
