I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a Fin-Advisor) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities.

Totally agree Pranjal. I never bought commodities in my 15+ years of investing experience. PSU is something I bought in 2008 and 2020 crash and gain handsome profit.

I feel the growth of India is at its best, no matter what, as much as investors believe in the growth of indian economy, government will make sure that all psu and commodity companies too grow, cause if they don't, the country itself will struggle economically. But yea, the growth might not be quick, but it's definitely secure and gradual. Thanks to government policies, India is not as much as effected by global economic conditions where there is fear of recession currently looming.

Totally agree on all your points. I don't invest in govt sectors and commodities for exactly the reasons you mentioned. On RIL though, it's an exception - cause it's a conglomerate and not just an commodity or utility company. As divisions hive off or demerge from RIL, there will be value unlocking.

But these stocks are primarily covered under Nifty 50 index. That means we shouldn't invest in Index funds.

@@azadjain8534 Investing in nifty 50 gives you stability and growth that will gradually increase your wealth on compounding basis (historically 12% you). One need not be too invested in the details of macro and micro elements of the market. You just need patience and discipline - 2 of the most rare qualities in stock investment. If you want higher returns, you have to research, find your taste of portfolio and make an investment plan accordingly, that suits your needs. There's no guarantee that you will beat the market, cause it depends on your level of research, your investment plan (momentum trading? Positional trading? Value investing? Technical charts?...) and your execution.

@@blacksabbath0007 Agree bro. But a significant aquisition of PSU and cyclic stocks is there in Nifty 50 which over the long term won't give much value. Just we can eradicate those stocks and invest in other Nifty 50 stocks.

@@azadjain8534 yes. That would definitely be a nice strategy. My problem with PSU is that they protect us from volatility but don't move at all. Good for regular dividends though - so I'm thinking of gradually creating a portfolio of PSUs and high dividend paying stocks for a regular stream of income where capital is also protected. I'm not good with cyclical / commodity stocks and so I stay away.

Hi Pranjal, you once also said that you will never invest in Aviation sector as well, I was expecting that sector as well in this video. Since aviation industry is dependent on fuel costing, number of seats are limited, flight will have to fly despite seats are fulling booked or not, and on top competitive pricing
