Milk business (selling of raw milk in packets) shouldn't be privatised. It's good for the customers if cooperatives only do this business. May be private players can focus more on value added products.
Commercialisation of milk production is the reason of animal suffering (Stray Animals, slaughtering etc.) 😢 Dairy is not a profitable industry unless business turn blind eye towards cruelty towards animals 🙏🏻

Vivek Sir, nice presentation on Milk Sector, but the combined milk sales of these 4 brands across any markets ( metro cities) is very minimal, Just for example- Mumbai -Major sales are from co-op brands Amul, Gokul, Warna, Mother Dairy for Liquid milk their sales are huge in Litre Per Day. Whereas Heritage, Govardhan, have very small share and Dodla , Hatsun are unheard brands in Mumbai. apart from these factors Pvt brands are not reliable due to seasonal factors & they face huge challenges during lean season to collect milk from farmers. Pvt dairies are focusing more on VAP for them Marketing liquid milk is huge challenge to compete against giants like Amul, Gokul, Warna even Mother dairy is struggling in Mumbai market. Even earlier Britannia failed in Mumbai, Reliance tried but was unsuccessful.
