I was granted unprecedented access into Stockton's gangs to find out the reason for the city's surge in violence and what we need to know about the people behind it.
So many of them gave consent to show there face lmao. That's like saying "Police! Please connect this as a confession to my crimes! I want to be arrested as we speak!"
Yeah his geto there's guys similar to nate in my hood but he ain't pushing the line that them man are pushing! That's why his in ufc and there still in the hood white guys in my hood was never in the drama not that they didn't back it! But nobody was looking at them or looking for them. Yeah but seeing where his from I get why he is the way he is
I live in Stockton but not Downtown but I know even certain streets just not to go down. You can be in a nice nieghbor hood one minute then end up at a dead end street getting robbed the next.
I left the next day cause I had to teach them niggas how Oakland real riders get down. 😉 should've seen it they couldn't even pull their fones out to call for help they pussies with guns thats all😂 hahah I remember how they were 😂😂😂
Manutd Twenty u know y one reason cause everyone there always act like they have something to prove and do the dumbest shit shooting in the air ain't fighting😂 hahaha no fights there without a gun involved
Manutd Twenty who said anything about bay area bein the hardest or being hard 😂 hahah see that's exactly what I'm tlkn bout Stockton niggas always feel like they have too prove something😂 like late bloomers lil kids trying to act grown and grown ass niggas acting like lil kids haha
Manutd Twenty being hard is buying a house and putting food on the table having a house on your name😎 and relax takin care of fam . not trying too be a wannabe gangster broke gangsters at that😂 haha staaaappp
Manutd Twenty and who be hiding I seen ppl come to the bay from out there in the valley and ppl move all over its called moving in with your life and not staying on a broke ass project and make broke look kool it's probably fun when u a young nigga in highschool but if u out of highschool thinking u the only badass and don't got no income and just lagg your days u gonna be old real fast and be a good for nothing😀
These guys are young..and make it seem they are stuck in that life...well, ill tell ya guys, you can ALWAYS straighten up your life. Your young..move to anither part of your country..get work..simple work and make friends with those doing what you are doing. Get some good life experience, love friends.. Gang life is dead end man, for 99% of ya. You can do it if you want to, people will help. They want to help. Good luck yall.
Lowlifes don’t run their lives that way. They have no life management skills. Stockton is full of lowlifes. A trip to the Mall is like a trip to Nigeria.
The shooting people instead of fighting when you got into a beef, started about 1986. From 1986 onward, people started shooting others instead of boxing
How about get a job and stop being a punk, they could do that. If they want respect, take care of family and do the right thing, not what Democrats want you to be, a stereotype.
Kids these days snitchin themselves out...it's a new time...as an oldhead I have a slight respect for it because they know what's coming to em and yet they still meet it head on...the pen insanity or death
Stockton is rough man.. and I've lived in rough places. Used to stay in Fresno, CA, Camden, NJ and in Santa Ana, CA. But I stopped to get gas one night in Stockton while I was on my road trip, saw so much action go down in an hour lol
In school the career counselor never told us about all the stuff you can get away with in civil service. I would have been all for it. By the time you add up the vehicles, gas, vacation vouchers, donations, liberties and perks, then retirement pays you for the rest of your life. Then it's goes to your family. It's like being a made man.
its not about dialogue its about jobs for people who may not be college bound, but need to have a source of income and something that keeps them out of open rebellion. All through out time this has been the case, these gang members are no different than the rabble rousers and malcontent who posed a threat to monarchies to the roman empire to any nation throughout history
Not only is she a great reporter and courteous enough to reply to comments, she’s also drop-dead gorgeous. If my production company ever secures adequate funding I’m going to reach out to her to host a segment on barrio gangs in San Jose since she seems to have good rapport and trust from the communities she engages with.
I remember being in line at food 4 less that day and watchin dozens of cop cars flyin by..crazy. One of the dudes who robbed the bank gilbert aka "boo boo" ended close to one of my family members
Not true. I was planning on covering meth addiction, but it was recently done very well by Lisa Ling of National Geographic: "World's Most Dangerous Drug."
People in Stockton think it’s normal to be afraid to walk outside. I lived there for two years and legit never walked outside alone ever. It was the worst 2 years of my life.
So u tellin me.. I WAS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THIS. lmfao I used to live on bianchi a few years. The neighborhood looks intimidating and somebody smashed our Cadillac window once but other than that it was coo
Its better then it used to be. Hood is more about money then gangbanging now, so theres a lot less gangs posted up hella deep these days. But its still fucked up. Youll be alright tho.
Ya I don't think it'll be tha easy believe I'm a sureno gang member myself ain't in Stockton no more but can't wait to be back shit is just to crazy for ppl to just change and all of a sudden be friends only one way in and only one way out as long as ppl think tha way all will be the same.
I aint gana lie my homie alex was a scrap in HS only scrap that i ever showed love to he was solid him and his brothers..tough bein a southerner in a norteno controlled city..
Crazy I was just there in June and didn't see any of this... I was in North Stockton so maybe it's different on that side of town. Every city has it's bad areas but for the most part Stockton looked nice to me... Just no real economic power house presence there.
Yea north and west is the safer side although parts of the north are bad too like townhomes/bianchi area, kelley drive, hammer lane etc..east n south n downtown and u can tell just by looks its all bad.
Me I am a Crip and I want people that will be willing to help themselves to get money. Just now is not going to be easy but at the same time it's going to be prosperous.
those are only some of the gangs tho i live in stockton and even if they are gang members you probably won't know it cause they can be the people that go to your church
The worst part is that HUMAN LIFE has less and less value amongst these young men. this is the result of boys not growing up with RESPONSIBLE FATHERS teaching them right from wrong.
That’s my old neighborhood I used to live in ! Calandria st . back in the day like 2010-2015 it was a crazy time. And man let’s not talk about townhomes . Worst neighborhood out of whole northside
420 bro fuckoff bruh you’d be surprised some of these officers out here fat ass fuck. If they were state troopers yeah but pretty sure cause they have to stay physically fit
I love Stockton for only two reasons: Nick and Nate Diaz. Don't think those guys would be who they are without Stockton. Proof that personal responsibility and accountability is alive in every person. You make your own choices.
@@jrivas5563 don't kill my happieness J. lol. But you could be totally right... Like a Hollywood "brand" getting pushed... Who knows what's real anymore.
As a non-gang member, I will snitch on any gang member for a crime and be proud of it. It's my civic duty and why I pay my taxes. Much respect to all my fellow law abiding citizens.
Merced Loco Thanx Merced. I grew up in the ghetto and actually did get my ass out of there! Busted my ass in school, went to a UC (paid for by the govt; thank you), now making 6 figures easily and moved out of the hood. We also have a great neighborhood watch program and the cops are nice as hell. Can't wait for summer b/c I'm going to switzerland for some snowboarding. Enjoy the hood puto. Think about me when you're in jail.
John Doe Why would i care about a respect from a gang banger? I grew up in the hood and recognize how lazy you guys were. No sympathy from me while you're in prison or dead. You guys live in section 8 housing and use food stamps and don't work. You're peons in this world! I respect the garbage man more than I respect you. FYI, you shouldn't laugh at your own jokes. It's kind of corny :) I'm living the surburbian life now with good people and a pretty decent 401k. You guys ain't on my radar. I don't like peanut butter either, but you can get your dog to lick it off you. It's probably the only way you get off. Just make sure to thank the doggie after you're done and to wash it off before bed. Have some respect for you self mr. Doe.
+19rulesdude You were one of the lucky ones. Because of schools making scheduling mistakes and even report card/transcript mistakes, many students' GPAs are unfairly lowered and they consequently lose access to scholarships. Plus being poor and Hispanic(I assume that's what you are) makes it easier for you to gain access to a scholarship. And aside from that, not everyone is intelligent enough or competent enough to succeed when living in low-income neighborhoods. Some people are born with conditions that make it very hard if not impossible to even graduate high school. But yeah, making out of the ghetto still requires hard work so good job!
In Africa its warlords and their soldiers battling it out with each other constantly. In America its gangleaders and their gangs battling it out constantly. One day it will be a much bigger and harder to contain issue.
What a terrible shame. Think how your grandmother, mother, brothers, sisters etc would feel if you were the one gunned down. Please stop the violence for the sake of your community and your family's sake.
