I wanted to thank you for exposing StockX. They did the same thing to me and it won’t happen again.

I have the hardest time understanding why these companies pass through poor quality pairs to buyers when they could easily hold the sellers accountable 😠

And they charge “authentication fee” at customers’ expense and still ship imperfect shoes. You can actually sue them if that’s the route you want to go, but exposing their bad business practices is the better way because that way you inform the public. Good luck on your future endeavors and more power ✌🏼

About time someone with a big platform spoke up about this. I purchased Concord 11 in 2018 for $300. That sneaker came in creased all over the jumpman sign 😳. On both sides. I wore them once to my aunt funeral and sold them on my online thrift store for $120 🤔. I never ordered a pair since then, just horrible. Happy Holidays everyone 🎄💯.

You should work with your credit card company to get your $$$ back. If you can show and prove that you attempted to work with the vendor for resolution, your bank/credit card company will get your $$$ back. Sorry this shit happened!

About a month and a half ago I received two pairs of Yeezy‘s that had damaged boxes, no tags on the shoes, and the pair of 700s had damage in multiple spots to the shoes, and the pair of 350s that I got looked as if they had been worn Multiple times. I had to go back-and-forth with customer service for weeks, writing reviews, submitting between 10 and 15 different claims, until I could finally get a non-automated response or they got tired of hearing from me I guess. After about 2 1/2 weeks, I was able to send both pairs back and was given a full refund. It was a miserable experience, and I can’t believe that those shoes ever passed any sort of inspection. I am no longer a StockX customer.

Stockx is where the non sneakerheads (ex:mom and pop), people who don’t do their research, and people that like to be scam buy when it comes to aftermarket sneakers. It’s EBay or bust when it comes to aftermarket sneakers for me.

Goat sent me a damaged shoe and I got a refund. Have used stock x before but notice the prices end up more after all their fees. After seeing this I won't be shopping with them again. They don't know who they messed over. Glad you exposed them.

Thank you for this guys, the sneaker community is better off dropping businesses with no accountability. What StockX passes off as "customer service" is just an unprofessional bad faith scam and anyone who makes their living from having a public image should be rushing to disassociate.

Never ordered from stockx and never plan on it. And Foamer just reminded me to not buy from them. I use GOAT sometimes and never had problems with the shoes delivered to me. All authentic and no flaws.

Bro I’m so with you!!! Believe this or not StockX is not the only re-sale company that don’t give a sh*t about the consumer. At Goat I received the shipping box the box my shoes came in and no shoes. I got the same responds. Oh well we can’t do nothing for you. So like you I’m done with both StockX and Goat. So either I get them at retail or I don’t get the sneaker. It’s unfortunate. 😮 well this was an eye opener and I, too, haven't copped off stockx in a year. I mainly use it now just to peep market trends but that's the type shit that made me quickly stop fw ebay and never returned.

@9:19 love the FEAR 3's copped mine from JD after trying on in store. If these were back at the $180 price they would have sold better. In 2023 not many can pay $210 plus sales tax and then turn around and pay $230 for some defective Gratitude 11's. Save your money people, Nike is out of pocket with GREED raising these sneaker prices while people struggle to pay bills. Let them all sit!

I ordered mine in on November 15 and it still haven’t “Arrived” to StockX yet. I very worried about it going to arrived damaged too. Thanks for the Feedback about your experience. I never had a problem with StockX for four years but this is worrying for me . Because I paid 300😅

StockX should do better. Simple fix would be to allow return, provide coaching opportunity to the person that failed to properly verify the product. Their employee gets a teaching moment and StockX keeps a happy customer.

Thank god you posted this. in may was my last purchase i got damaged goods too. 900 dollar shoe with deep scratches all over the nubuck and they said heres ten dollars off your next order .

I stopped using stockx completely for purchasing back in ‘22. Customer service is horrible and they just don’t take pride in what they do.

This is the problem with resell in the first place. There is no focus on the customer, or even the product itself. There is no love of sneakers, just love of money and it's KILLING the culture.

I bought a fake pair of TS1 olives from stockx and they tried to say the same exact thing they said to you. I did a chargeback with PayPal and had several sources like check check and local shops with real pairs show why they were fake. Ended up getting a full refund. Huge shoutout to PayPal’s support.

I’ve been saying I won’t do business with StockX. I won’t pay the resale price, plus fees and taxes. If I can’t get the shoes I want for retail, I simply won’t get it. StockX has shown time and again that they don’t stand by their product. They have never gotten my money and never will.

I ordered a pair from Stockx as well! They should be arriving on Wednesday. I hope mine don’t come out like yours! Damn! That’s messed up. Once I receive my pair, I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!

All these resale platforms are the same. I just bought a new pair of military black 4s off of eBay. The shoes pictured were flawless. The pair I ended up receiving… not so much. I contacted eBay for a refund and they pretty much told me the same thing, too bad. I left a negative review for the seller and they even removed my review lol.

Same! Finally bought the 2016 True Blue 3's. Missing paint on back on the heel. Didn't even bother. Never do business with Stockx again.

Glad you put the word out on stockx. They sent me a pair that had clearly been worn. Creased midsoles, dirty outsoles, and sock lint on the insoles! They offered me 10% off my next order! What a joke. I did get a refund, but after much back and forth. Haven't ordered from them since.

Companies sometimes send products that don’t have great quality, it happens. But at least those companies have some form of customer service where you can get your money back or replace the product. Stock x has none of that.

Nice pickup with the Fear 3s , i copped on release day myself ; though questioning if i should have just waited to see if they go on sale which they likely will. Clean AJ3 , though an early to mid-October release would have worked better imo as such an ideal autumn colorway and not get lost in the holiday mix. Regardless as a longtime fan of the colorway look forward to having it on the improved shape and cut we've been getting on AJ3s lately. And thanks for sharing your buying experience guys. I legit do not even mess with the resale sites / apps anymore ; too many bad experiences for myself and many others (this one included). Customer service is basically non-existent and any response (if you even get one) usually unhelpful and rude. Fees are often ridiculous as well. For me its retail / from reputable retailers or nothing at this point.

They ripped me off three pairs of J's I sent in. I had to contact my State's Attorney General office about them and even after that, they still did nothing to remedy the situation. I had to sue them.

Ive heard and seen a lot of Q&C issues with the 11s not just from stockx tbh. Even people that got shock drop pairs were complaining of issues of either leather being creased before recieving or not being stitched right to now the jumpman being melted. An for a $230 shoe it should be spotless tbh. Stockx should have never sent that out i agree but it does start with the company that sent that out to begin with which Jordan/nike thats the qaulity u should expect from now on.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I bid on stockx for Jordan 1 Court Purples. When I received my shoes, they sent me fakes! They were obvious fakes too with a small shoe box, crooked stitching, warped soles and just overall poor quality construction. Luckily they offered me a full refund upon return but for them to "Authenticate" fakes just made me lose trust in them.
