Nice shotgun.... My neighbor had a 1910 Tobin SxS 12 gauge that i don't believe was ever taken outside or fired more than a few times. It definitely didn't look to be over 100 years old. Unfortunately it along with several other of his firearms were lost in a house fire in 2019
I own the same gun. I love it. Whenever I bring it out people just go crazy over it. But yet it's a beast. It will eat everything you put through it. And for the price it's amazing.
The supreme has a glossy wood finish, it’s the better looking walnut, a rubber stock base for shock, and 2 choke tube screws. Comes with the choke remover tool. All 3 styles (within each gage, 12 or 20) come in all blue, all nickel, and a combo nickel and blue. All styles are the same price, the nickel does not make it supreme, nor does it cost extra over the all blue version in supreme. SASS here.
We have the no-frills single trigger model, main purpose will be home defense...we shoot up a box of trap loads every time we go to the range, that ammo still affordable and findable...also,we added a limbsaver recoil pad,it makes a tremendous difference...the supreme models are prettier, but that is a buyer's preference...
Love a double barrel shotgun for me it's because as a kid me and my old man would get down on some old school doom and to me there was nothing more bad ass than to kill demons with that double barrel shotgun and ever since I've always liked these guns
If they wanted to build a good coach gun, they should use the Fox design. Good and solid with a long reputation. It would also be pretty simple to build.
Wanted the same gun with a single trigger but unfortunately they don´t sell it in that fancy nickel finish. Single triggers only come with the blued finish. :(
Dude...I got lucky...went to cabelas to buy ammo...got my boxes and went to look at the guns..and there it was...the little friend of badass....bought it that day......Booooooooommmmm....
I want to learn firearm basics with one of these. It's like owning a nice vehicle. You just wanna admire it and take care of it. The question is what load to use for home defense. Turkey shot, slugs, 00 buck, etc. Whaddya reckon?
Personally I use 00 because its what's available. And where I live and environmental conditions. There are many variables to what's "best". You can message me privately and I'll share my opinions.
Why doesn’t Stoeger put a recoil pad on all their coach guns not just the Supreme? Mostly every shotgun has some sort of recoil pad. Stop being Cheesy.
I picked mine up july 3rd last year. Bass pro has been keeping various stoeger in stock. Keep trying them if you have one close by. Luckily. I have 1 about an hour and a half north, and the same distance south of me
@@baja5racer1 it was 150 or so more than the standard price and it arrived quickly which I didn't mind. I also wanted a 12 gauge but a 20 doesn't sacrifice all the firepower. Also the ammo is easier to find. Got a 25 shell box pretty easily.
I have the same gun. It's a fun gun for sure, however, it isn't a precisely made gun. It is very poorly fitted together. It's very junky. But a lot of fun. I had mine drilled and tapped with a see through rail for open sights and a red dot.
This gun comes with a improved cylinder and modified choke. Slugs should be safe to fire. Anything tighter than modified (like improved modified or full) slugs can cause an issue. Just don't fire brenneke style slugs through it. Your generic foster style slugs should be just fine
@@loganisenberg actually since posting this I discovered a video that answered what I was looking for, I bought one of these yesterday but when you go to cock it the spring is just too tough, love the gun just needs a little tweaking, thanks for the response!
It comes with improved cylinder and modified. The thread pattern is the same as winchoke tubes, I believe mossberg and browning as well. Any chokes in those threads work, some modifications to length in the bore too stay flush may be necessary
What is that background noise? I’m sorry, , I was interested in what you had to say , I have a Stroeget 12 G. but the background noise made it impossible.
