Great show once again Bone. This platform has been consistently putting together great interviews with amazing guests. Continued success to the entire staff especially those behind the cameras and running the Social Media. All Daz forever been💯💯💯. The real D.C. N.E. salute
Yea im from Cherry Hill but when I went to Douglass all my Whitelock homeboys use to talk about Stokey and Warren...I used to wonder if Warren was the only street guy with a Nike contract...he stayed wit Nike stuff not in stores💯
The set up is dope asf, I love that retro set. The couches and tv’s, straight throwback. Not from the hood but from the outside looking in, what Stokey was saying was real about feeling like the cops was justified for whooping them for running or whatever they did. I feel like it wasn’t until white people came in on some shit like, “What? The cops are hitting you?” And the white people made an issue of it. I could be wrong but I feel like democrats came into areas during gentrification and have caused way more harm than good.
One of the greatest ironies with bringing people to the light is that you must first grab their attention with tales of the dark side. See, I know Stokey and had many positive conversations with him. Good dude. But I imagine that those who don't know (at least of) him may be asking themselves "Why should I hear what he has to say? What has he done that I should pay attention to? What does he know about the life I have/had?" To your credit, you begin to touch on that 6 mins into the interview, but that maybe too late in this low-to-no attention span, scroll-past-everything world we live in. Better to give people a taste of that right away. I know, the idea seems counter-intuitive, but it lends credibility to a platform where all too commonly, people are limited only by their imagination. With that said, keep doing what you're doing. We need REAL dudes with unique perspectives forged from REAL experiences. Hope you have Stokey back on soon. You barely scratched the surface on what he has to say. Respect!
