Demo flight in the STOL CH750SD at the Zenith Aircraft kit factory.
The CH750SD is equipped with a 205-hp IO-375 engine (with three-blade Cato prop) and the repositionable Avilution UnPanel inside the roomy cabin.
The STOL CH 750 Super Duty is the latest model in the Zenith high-wing lineup. The resemblance between the STOL CH 750 Super Duty (SD) and the original STOL CH 750 light-sport aircraft is obvious, but the Super Duty offers increased useful load, the addition of a jump seat in the big rear cabin area, and more powerful engine choices for maximum short take-off and landing (STOL) capability. The design features fixed wing leading-edge slats, full-length flaperons (for excellent control at slow flight), big tires for off-airport operations, and effective rudder and elevator to allow for slow flight operations. The roomy cabin provides easy access from both sides and amazing visibility from the wrap-around windows and bubble doors.

I haven't flown anything since 1980 and I never did any bush flying but this plane makes me feel as young as that little guy in the back seat. You do us armchair (former) flyers a big favor by giving us a little taste of what we used to love with videos like this. Thanks.

Excellent demo. Great flying aircraft. I think we have a new pilot in training, as he’s enjoying it! I was about the same age for my first flight and have never stopped loving it.

Maravilhoso êsse vídeo, essa união, papai e filhinho. O garôto preocupado com a Mami, e a primeira coisa que a Mami faz, é ir diretamente ao filhinho, ver se estava tudo bem. Lindo...lindo ..lindo. E o garotinho esteve o tempo todo muito calmo, tranquilo e confiante. A máquina é boa, o piloto e bom, mas o mais importante, é êsse vínculo familiar, que demonstrou um amor e cumplicidade muito bonitos. Por essa união valeu o vídeo. Parabéns ao casal e ao filhinho. I'd really like to see Roger take the SD out west and really show us what it can do. I'd like to see some river bed and mountain top landings! I think that type of video could really sell some planes.

Because I’m very new to this. I’ve seen some wall around but have never seen a zenith in person. Where is the access to the cargo compartment if you have a jump seat? And what’s the size? I’ve seen the cool add on belly box. But curious for true luggage since the GW is so much higher. Thanks!

OMG, that little boy just made my day! I thought for sure he'd be sleeping before the first round was done. I use to put my babies on my Honda Goldwing and they would pass right out. Of course I had a special seat belt system for them I had made in the day. They weren't going anywhere and slept like a baby should. Colicky baby at that.

been lusting after this plane for a while. Is the 170-200hp level required for this airframe? I was thinking about dropping a Rotax 912is into it, but it only has about 100hp

We recommend the standard STOL CH 750 for the 100-hp Rotax 912iS engine, which is an excellent engine for this airframe: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TzTieV0EvSY.html The CH750 Super Duty is made to carry more (with larger wing and tail sections) which does require some more power. The Rotax 915 could be a good choice for the 750SD model

only issue I forsee with rotary's is the fuel burn; they're pretty inefficient without a turbo
