I remember watching this when it came out and a couple of times after that. That look you made in your moms' eyes will never not be both hilarious and terrifying at the same time! Also nice job on beating the Lion King Genesis game. I feel as though if I were growing up in the 90's the Sega Genesis would still be my console of choice. Now that I've gotten my own a couple years ago it's still one of my favorite consoles despite growing up with my brothers' Xbox 360. Also, this is just my opinion but Sonic still strikes a cord with me because of the confident storytelling, and unique characters. I grew up playing a lot on my 3DS with MarioKart and Mario 3D World, but towards the latter half of me not using the handheld anymore... Mario games just weren't really my thing. I had gotten way too into Minecraft and Fnaf at the time because of their gameplay and immersion. I didn't truly get into Sonic until the first movie came out. I wasn't unaware of the character and his friends for I was also watching the Sonic Boom T.V show on CN. Sorry if this is SUPER long but I just love the Sonic franchise!

I watch Game Grumps too! I've been watching them since 2016 and really love their humor and personality, and have watched so many compilations. I also really love Sonic and the first Sonic game I played was Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on the Gamecube and I loved that game (my older brother and I played the multiplayer mode a lot). Also love Sonic Heroes and it's one of my favorite Sonic games.

Storytime! :D Something similar happened to me a WHILE back ago. I wanted *robux* so i bought some online using my moms credit card and lied saying my friend got it for me. It would email a receipt to me but since i was relatively smart, i would delete the email before anyone could see it. But when we were in the car i wasnt fast enough to delete the receipt before my dad could see and was *BUSTED* I had to pay them back over 70 DOLLARS. Ah, the things we do when we're determined :')

This story of Rebecca's first online purchase reminds me of my first (attempted) solo online purchase. This was when I was about 9, I think, I was really into Playmobil at the time, I don't know if they were ever a thing in the US, but they're these German plastic figures, you could get knights, and princesses, and a bunch of boring modern stuff like cops and firemen. Every year Playmobil released a new catalogue, showing all the toys in their range that they were selling that year, they updated their sets every couple of years, so every so often there'd be a new castle or pirate ship available, so it was important to kid me to always get the new one when it came out (I also kept the old ones for reasons of what I now know to be nostalgia, I was a weird kid). These catalogues where in two parts, the main bit which contained the toys that they were selling in the shops, and a pull-out smaller catalogue full of the online exclusives. Mostly the online stuff was less exciting, just additional accessories, random figures, and sometimes leftover stock from discontinued sets, but when I was 7, it did have a few bits I wanted. I had the castle set, brave knights and whatnot, so I was drawn to the medieval looking princess and the evil looking dragon. Now, initially I didn't get that the stuff on that small catalogue was for online exclusives, so one day me and my mum went to the toy shop in town to buy it in the normal way. I looked for an hour, and eventually asked the shopkeeper where that stuff was, he told us that it was only available from Playmobil's website. At first I was upset, I was 7 and the shopkeeper was telling me that I couldn't get the toy I wanted, even though I'd save up my pocket-money for it, and he had all the other Playmobil. I didn't quite get that the reason why this stuff was online only was that it wasn't likely to sell enough in shops to justify bulk orders. But, my mum assured me that I'd still be able to get my toys, and that we'd order them online. When we got home, I was straight on the computer, and my brother was dragged out to do the ordering. For whatever reason, probably, to make it seem - to child me - like it was actually costing money (apparently I didn't know about card payments), by brother decided to mock-up a payment system involving an old brass, bear-shaped piggy-bank, and a stray cable put under it. I was told to put my coins into the bear, and that this money would travel down the wire, and pay the Playmobil people. I did just that, and two weeks later I had my dragon and princess. You may have noticed that this was all happening when I was 7, and that earlier I said my first online purchase was when I was 9, well getting to that. What happened when I was 7 was my brother buying the thing, using - with her consent - our mum's card, but when I was 9, I decided I wanted to buy Playmobil online, on my own. Specifically I wanted to buy some extra tower parts to make the turrets on my castle taller. I've always had a good long-term memory, so I arranged it like last time, I had the bear, I put it on top of a cable, and I readied my coins. I went on the website, clicked on the the towers, put them in my basket, went to basket, clicked buy, and put my coins into the bear. Nothing happened, no bulge of my coins going down the wire, no message saying my transaction was complete, nothing to tell me when I'd get the toy, absolutely sweet F. A. Naturally I was disappointed, and worse still, the release on the bottom of the bear - to get the money out - was too stiff for me to undo, so - so far as I was concerned, I'd lost my money. Even worse, this was around the time that I was being introduced, in school, to the topic of online safety, we'd been told that scammers online were able to steal your money, although I didn't quite get how, and I was convinced that the Playmobil company has phished me. Having not long been taught how to avoid scams, and having apparent been scammed anyway, I was so ashamed that I didn't tell anyone. I put the bear and cable back where I'd found them, clicked off the website, and turned off the computer. I didn't say a thing for a few months, until, one day, my mum moved the bear, and noticed it rattle as if coins were in it. That's when I explained what had happened, and that's when my mum told me what we'd done when I was a kid was a game, and that it wasn't how online shopping really worked. I was shocked, and I didn't even have the consolation of getting my money back, because the release was too tight for my mother to undo, and I insisted that we not tell anyone else about the silly mistake I'd made, meaning no one else would know to try opening it. That said, I guess someone else eventually noticed the rattle of coins, and took them, because I recently rediscovered that old bear, opened it up, found that their definitely weren't coins in it anymore. So yeah, that's the story of my first, failed, attempt to buy stuff online, and I didn't try again until I was 16, and had my own debit-card. I guess I wasn't as computer literate as a kid as Rebecca was,

I also remember looking in my sister’s room and it looked like she had more toys than me, so I spent $500 on toys off Amazon. We kept a few of the things I bought, but most of it was refunded. I guess in retrospect, my sister’s room just wasn’t as tidy as mine and some of the things in her room probably weren’t toys, but trash

It’s an actual sound that you get to use as a car horn for your car in Forza Horizon 5!
