I'm pleased to hear that the police were actually able to find one by investigating the situation. Need lots more of that. Plus maybe a bit more personal security on behalf of the victims, but at least its coming home. I think of all the stolen cars and machines that are never recovered and the victim will get a depreciatted compensation from the insurance and its just a lose lose situation except for the criminal. I know why I enjoy these. It is because of a special deep loathing for thieves. Most stolen goods are not recovered but if an arrest is made and goes to court I have never seen a thief excuse themselves to the victims or show remorse for their crime. Murderers have been known from time to time to realize the horror they have commited and sincerely feel sorrow for having done it and accept their fates but thieves just don't seem to understand what hurt their crimes can do. And maybe my opinion is BS, but it comes from a lifetime of observation and not just brain storming some novel like Philip Dick on LSD.

I wish the US had a company as good as yours.. The popular one here in the US is useless... We need a hands on company. That's what we are lacking .. I see so much theft in Atlanta it's crazy !!!!

originally from that area and was having a little laugh to myself as you passed the old police headquarters and thinking i knew exactly where it was (my boyo used to work for that recovery company) - at least you got a nice trip out into the lake district and hope you had a hotel booked for yourself and enjoyed the town

A classic episode this one. I note that you did not really need to drive around Keswick if you were already heading for Cockermouth nice little scenic diversion though , were you trying to follow Google maps? No you wouldn't find any cops around where you were going to they would have to have travelled from Workington or Penrith. Extremely funny ending of no prosecutions isn't it ? Haha! The man in the pub would have to rescind what he said to the copper and come out and say he did not know it was stolen only that it had its id plate ripped out and he found it or something. Marvellous.

We didn't see much tracking on this video it was more talking and travelling..

There was a fair few locals got locked up for this. Part of a gang attacking the local cash machines

The biggest machine that was stolen other here was 10 years ago, a Caterpillar 627B Twin Engine Motor Scraper, a low Loader pulled up to transport it, none of us thought anything out of the ordinary, never seen it since, 35 tonne machine gone

You guys need to open up shop in North America, too. There's so much theft of machinery and vehicles over here, it's an industry of its own.

Why don't you have regional offices/reps? It would save a lot of driving.

Well, you should have let the air out of the tires on the Range Rover while waiting for the coppers and then it wouldn't have been driven away. Easy enough to carry a 12V DC travel compressor in the boot (I do).
