On this week's episode we take a look at the PW-3 wah pedal by BOSS. Returning to all-analog circuitry, this wah has two modes: a classic "McCoy"-style wah and a custom "Rich" mode with a wider range of frequencies effected.

i just bought this wah brand new...i've notice mine its takes a lot of pressure/effort to turn on/off...need to stand up to press much pressure on that wah pedal😐😑😞

Is it a good idea to use a bass with this?

good question. like any pedal, you can use it however you'd like. the thing to keep in mind is that most bass wahs are based around a sweepable Low Pass Filter as opposed to a Band Pass Filter. the main reason for this is because bass guitar has a much lower frequency spectrum than a guitar. so you could try it and it you like it, AWESOME. but it wouldn't be my first choice.

@@SeanPierceJohnson so for the bass it would make sense to get a specific one that's made for that so that you keep the low end

@@johnnhello4913 in my opinion yes. Though there aren’t many options. The bass crybaby is the most widely used.
