Period... no better showmanship, nothing will ever come close Dimebag truly was MAGIC live... I’m getting chills thinking about it... I saw every single Pantera show in Dallas from ‘94 to the last show with Slayer in 2001... indescribably powerful shows in every way. They are indeed The Great Southern Trend Killers... when White Zombie was blowing up the radio with hits, and Pantera had virtually no air play (only single on TGSTK was Drag the Waters) They opened for Pantera. 20,000 in the crowd... best show ever (Phil flatlined on heroin after the show and had to be resuscitated at Baylor hospital) When Godsmack was blowing up the radio, PanterA had almost no air play (only single was Revolution is my Name on reinventing the steel) they didn’t need airplay and hits to DOMINATE the biggest bands of the time with active number one hits. That’s a statement.
