That’s a beautiful piece, paying tribute to the greatest generation. My grandad was a Seabee in WW2 so being able just to see it means a lot. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I have two pre Gerber knives. One is the Murphy Combat knife, and one is a rarer Murphy Combat JR. Aluminum was used on both handles. Good to see you doing cool videos, Greg.
Awesome is a vastly overused term but that knife is AWESOME! I had never heard that WWII story before either. In a way though it's a shame not to have that piece exhibited in a beatiful display case.
